The property was not as advertised. I asked and received early checked in ( which cost !!). Easy check in. I received a note right away from the host that the kitchen sink had a leak and not to use until handyman arrived later ( 5:30 pm) to fix. He arrived and fixed it. But in addition, upon arrival in the suite the cord for the main window of the unit was broken, so you could not open the curtain! See photos. I made the handyman aware and he said he would have to come back the next day with an additional part for the window cord. He was able to get into the hardware to open the window for a view but we could not control the curtain until fixed. It was a hot day so the air conditioner was going when we arrived. Unfortunately the suite did not appear to be cooling off and upon inspection, I found the hose coming from the window to the back of the A/C unit had broken off and an enormous amount of duct tape had been used to try to reattach the hose to the A/C unit. It didn’t work bc the back of the unit became very hot and this melts the glue on the duct tape and it detaches! See photos. Handyman was aware of A/C unit malfunction but stated that they couldn’t find a new hose package for this particular A/C unit. I finally checked out of the suite one day early bc the A/C could not get the suite to a comfortable temperature and we are having a heat wave in this city at the moment. I was astonished that the host did not offer compensation for all the issues I dealt with!
