Beautiful weekend away

Beautiful views of the mountains and quiet spot ! We had a great weekend at the wildcat retreat ! Everything we needed was there and waking up to the views of the mountains were amazing ! very clean and very accommodating. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope we can visit again soon 😃

Private location

Was everything that we had hoped for and then some. It felt like a nice welcoming home to spend quality time with family. There was plenty of room , very clean and secluded. We would definitely stay there again in the future. Nicely located between Banff and Calgary.

Family weekend getaway

Wonderful stay! This property is beautiful and was the perfect home for our weekend getaway. The views are amazing, home is spotless. A lovely welcome basket when we arrived to the property, very thoughtful. Highly recommend this home! You won’t be disappointed!

Exactly as listed

This was a well stocked home and the owners thought of everything. The kitchen is well appointed with enough spices, pots and pans and cutlery to create a great meal. Sitting out by the fire at night was a good way to end the day. Enjoyed the sauna after a long hike at Lake Louise. Definitely recommend this place.

Awesome Canada

The location was about an hour from Banff, lots of beautiful scenery. House was on about 2 acres with a nice big deck and yard games for the kiddos. Property owner provided a "smores kit" that was enjoyed by all.. An overall great week in Canada!

Very clean. Beautiful views. Really well stocked (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, spices, BBQ utensils, shampoo, conditioner etc etc). Sauna in the basement. Excellent host. Stayed here with my family that visited from Ireland. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic

The property is just amazing with beautiful views of the mountains. When you walk in the house you just like home with some welcome goodies from the owner and toys too. The home is in perfect location not far from the mountains and really close to Cochrane. I will go back there in a heartbeat.

Fantastic Accommodations!

The accommodations were fantastic with a great view of the Mountains and Ghost Lake. Close proximity to Cochrane and Kananaskis made this location ideal for the wedding venue we attended. The Owners were very responsive to the few questions we had. We highly recommend this well appointed house in the hills!!

Superb on every level

Wildcat ridge is an excellent property, it was clean, superbly equipped with everything we needed. There was a lovely vase of flowers, the fridge had a wonderful pack of sauces, there was tea and coffee, sampoo, conditioner, shower gel, everything we needed, 3 lovely bedrooms, we only needed 2 but there are 3. And the views are incredible. I would definitely stay here again if we came back. weneeded

a view to die for

second time back and just as impressive as the first time. it's quiet, just remote enough to enjoy the privacy without being too far that if you forget something you have a small gas station nearby or Cochrane a short drive away. we'll be back for a third time that is for sure.

Spectacular mountain views

Beautiful home with amazing views of the Rocky Mountains and Ghost Lake. We throughly enjoyed our stay on this 20 acre property. It’s remote enough to have a peaceful and quiet holiday away from the city but also close enough to Cochrane for amenities if needed, which is only 12 minutes away. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fire, the infrared sauna, doing yoga on the deck and just basically the the serenity of the property. Would definitely return.

Beautiful home in convenient location!

The house was beautiful, quiet, and secluded from other homes, with great views of the Rockies in the distance. It was only an hour from Calgary and 15 minutes from Cochrane which was convenient. We came for day hiking, and it was about an hour from most of the trails we did in Banff, Bragg Creek, and Kananaskis. The owner was nice and helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions via text. Highly recommended for those looking to visit the Canadian Rockies!

Relaxing Get Away

Wildcat Ridge Retreat is the perfect get away. The amazing view is just as pictured with the Rocky Mountains and the lake. We all loved sitting outside and enjoying the sites of nature. The fire pit was a bonus as we lucked out with no fire ban at the time. So many great family memories made around the fire pit. The home has everything we needed and is so well taken care of. The hosts have thought of every thing! The location for us was perfect, far enough out of town to get into vacation mode while being close enough to town that it’s just a quick trip away.

Perfect Canadian Rockies Getaway

Solitude. Beautiful views. Impeccable (and very clean) home. And the most well-stocked vacation rental ever. Our stay at Wildcat Ridge Retreat was amazing. It’s a great location, and the outdoor space was just as wonderful as the indoor! Enjoying my morning coffee on the deck and breathing that mountain air was so relaxing before heading out to hike, kayak and explore. Hosts are lovely and thoughtful - thank you for the welcome treat! We would come back again in a heartbeat! Wildcat Ridge Retreat truly felt like home.

Great spot!

Central location with an easy drive from the Calgary airport! Nice touches from the owners with fresh flowers and tasty snacks! It had all the staples and essential elements for preparing meals, etc. We enjoyed many scenic drives in all directions. We saw lots of wildlife including black bear (even two cubs!), grizzly bear, a pine marten, Rocky Mountain goats and Bighorn Sheep! We spotted deer and bald eagles from the house! We thoroughly enjoyed our 36th anniversary here! Great stay!

Very comfortable with fabulous view!

Our family enjoyed this well appointed, comfortable home in a prime location between Banff and Calgary. It's away from the traffic and hub-bub of the city, yet has good access to major highways. We had good communication with the owners via text messages so check in and out went smoothly and questions were answered quickly. They even provided some tasty treats for us and some age-appropriate activities for our granddaughter. We particularly enjoyed the grill, outdoor fire pit, large open area for outdoor activities, sauna and fabulous views through floor-to-ceiling windows on the west side. Our family group of 5 enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others.

We had issues booking and the hosts were very helpful and patient. It was a card issue with conversion in US dollars We felt very safe, and comfortable! Lots of amenities! Welcome snacks and beautiful flowers were thoughtful! Our host answered texts and questions quicklyIf we ever come back to the area we will definitely be repeat guests!

Perfect retreat

Perfect place for a home away from home. The owner is very responsive and caring. Upon arrival we were greeted with muffins, scones and short bread. The house was equipped with everything. The views were breathtaking. Only 15 minutes to Cochrane. Would definitely stay at this location again.
