The Space:

Welcome to Coastal Retreat, a private woodland home overlooking Fern Canyon in Cambria. Vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and warm cabin character bring the surrounding forest into this inviting two-story retreat. Spend your morning on the deck, explore nearby beaches and village shops, then return for a grilled dinner and a cozy evening beside the fireplace.



🛏️ Upstairs loft family suite

The spacious, 700-square-foot loft offers flexible sleeping arrangements for families:

• Attached bathroom with a separate shower and soaking tub



The loft does not have a door and is open to the living space below. Sound carries between these areas, and privacy is limited. Please consider this layout when planning bedtimes and sleeping arrangements.

The main-floor bedroom features a king bed and a 43-inch smart TV. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is located just across the hall.



A full-size sleeper sofa in the living room provides another sleeping option. The home’s maximum occupancy is ten guests.

For a day trip, explore Hearst Castle, Elephant Seal Vista Point, or Paso Robles wine country.



Guest Access:

Guests have private access to the entire house, main deck, loft deck, and laundry facilities. Keyless entry makes arrival convenient.



The paved driveway is steep and accommodates up to four cars. A Level 2 Tesla charger with an adapter for other EVs is available for guest use.



The Neighborhood:

Coastal Retreat overlooks Fern Canyon, a lush forested preserve in Cambria. Located west of Highway 1, the home is about a mile from Cambria’s East and West Villages and a short drive from Moonstone Beach.



Explore nearby trails and parks, including Fiscalini Ranch Preserve, Lampton Cliffs Park, Shamel Park, and Strawberry Canyon. For a day of sightseeing, visit Hearst Castle, Elephant Seal Vista Point, Piedras Blancas Lighthouse, or Ragged Point. Paso Robles wine country also makes a wonderful day trip.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended for exploring Cambria, nearby beaches, and the wider Central Coast. Walking and biking are also options for local outings. The home’s steep, paved driveway offers parking for up to four cars.

🏡 Home Layout & Entry

Coastal Retreat is a two-story home with a ramp providing access into the home. A bedroom and full bathroom are on the main floor. Stairs are required to reach the upstairs sleeping loft, which has no door and is open to the living area below. Please keep this open layout in mind when planning sleeping arrangements for your group.



🚗 Steep Driveway & Parking

Please be aware that the paved driveway is steep. Use care when entering, exiting, and parking. There is space for up to four cars.



💳 Additional Guest & Pet Fees

A fee of $35 per guest, per night applies to each guest beyond the first four. Please include your full guest count when booking.

A pet fee of $125 per pet applies.
