The location is fantastic! Shops and restaurants nearby. There is coastal access nearby but not a beach to enjoy with kids. We did not have a pet with us but the house was pet friendly!

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this rental home. The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if we didn't have to purchase and then give to the next guests dishwasher pods. We were only given 3 pods for our 5 night stay. I realize that in the description that it was mentioned there would be a starter amount of amenities like toilet paper and paper towels, but when traveling from out of state it would be nice to have at least enough for the amount of nights our stay was for. We still had a 5 star stay and everyone was very comfortable and slept well and the fenced back yard was perfect for our son's dog. The neighborhood is quiet and the home's location was very easy to drive to all of the sites Cambria and Big Sur area had to offer.

The house was super clean, and so nicely laid out and upgraded.The only comment I would make is the kitchen could be a bit better stocked as far as it didn’t have aluminum foil, and could have a few more kitchen utensilsMaybe a tea kettle or something. I didn’t bring coffee pods because I usually brew my own coffee and I had forgotten that your site said you had a Keurig that’s not a negativity on your part because you did advertise it.But everything else was fabulous! We definitely will come back again

Loved our stay! We stayed at a different place last year I liked this place much better!! It was very Clean, nice appliances remodeled bathroom and kitchen. Didn’t understand the question about our wine experience? Grandson loved being outside in the backyard. We brought a gate to keep our two year old from going up the stairs. We will be back again if we come to the lights next year!!

House was great, very nice layout and furniture was nice and well furnished. Only problem we had was that two of the three TV remote controls had dead batteries and there were a few cobwebs. Would definitely recommend.

Best Vacasa rental

This home was immaculate, beautifully renovated and with all up to date and in working condition appliances. The neighborhood was lovely and friendly. The backyard and barbecue were exactly as described. The home was 5 minutes from a beach with access up and down the coast to beaches. The wine tasting options are copious and nearby. We highly recommend this home and thank the owners for the opportunity to live there for a vacation.

Nice location, house needs work

The location is amazing, and the weather was great. The beach is close by and downtown isn't far with great shops and amazing restaurants. The outside of the house is great and has alot of curb appeal, now they just need to get the inside of the house in shape. This house needs alot of updating. It needs new silicone around all of the tubs where water has been leaking under the floor. There is very low water pressure in the whole house. There is strong smell of fumes in the garage from the exhaust pipes from the water heater and furnace exhaust. There was also a horrible smell from the furnace when the heater was on, could be in need of a new furnace filter or worse. The furniture downstairs is worn-out and needs some love, I refused to sit on the couches and the dining room chairs were scary to put your whole weight on. The night we arrived we had to sweep and clean the whole house. All of the beds had dirty linens and comforters covered in dog hair and what I hope was dog slobber. I contacted the staff and they simply gave me the code to the supply closet which didn't have anymore bedding like I was told. So I ended up having to wash bedding so that we could have clean beds to sleep on. There is zero cell phone signal inside the house and the wifi network can't handle all the smart devices in the house allong with our phones. We had to wait till we were in town to make phone calls. I cant recommend this experience to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at this property

The house was clean, spacious and open with lots of windows to let in natural light and is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The place was fully stocked with essentials and amenities. All modern kitchen appliances, wifi connection, tv is ready for streaming, secured with Ring system. Perfect for our family of 4 plus 1 pet. Very close to downtown Cambria and Moonstone Beach. Would stay here again!

We had just a few miles to Heart Castle. local beaches were beautiful. House was well stocked will all that was needed. Secure back yard for our little Yorkie. It was a wonderful stay.

Nice Place

Overall, this is a good spot, especially if you have a dog with you. The backyard is solidly fenced with a nice turf area. It made it easy to clean and a safe area for the dog. The house was very clean and well stocked. I noticed a faint smell of cigarette odor. More like the house once belonged to a smoker than someone recently smoking. If you have a very sensitive nose, you might notice it. The couch was a bit tired, but not terrible. There was a huge kitchen table, perfect for building a puzzle. There is a large TV in the living room. There is a Keurig coffee maker, with some k cups provided. If you like fancy coffee, you may want to bring your own k cups, but it was still really nice to have some provided. It was an easy drive into town and you can get food delivered so plenty of options. The bed in the master was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows and blankets provided. There were some amenities provided, with shampoo and conditioner in these little eco friendly cups. Plenty of hand soap, dish soap and cleaning amenities provided. Overall it was a nice, clean space and we would be happy to stay there again.

Great home!

We enjoyed our stay at this Cambria house. The location was great and the property itself was well kept. The beds were comfy and the space was big enough to host our family for Thanksgiving. We also brought our dog and the house was setup with a dog bowls. Would definitely rent this house again!

A lovely home

Everything was very well set up. The kitchen was fully equipped, There are lots of linens, blankets and towels. It felt a lot like house sitting for someone with very good housekeeping skills It felt like a home, not a hotel.

We spent 2 amazing weeks with our 2 dogs and enjoyed every moment of it. The house is spectacular, clean, modern and freshly remodeled and second previous reviews that emphasize the excellent maintenance, despite being dog friendly. The backyard was perfect for our furry kids and the patio perfect for us!! We will be back and would recommend it to all families out there looking for a place in paradise for their vacation.

Perfect for a family of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Wanderlust, Lodge Hill! We arrived for a long weekend with our adult daughters, and we found the house to be very clean. We had everything that we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The house is decorated very nicely and everything was in working order. The beds were comfortable. They even provided a filtered water pitcher in the refrigerator, so that we saved on purchasing bottled water. Also, the customer service was very responsive! The house was the perfect size for a family of 5, and it was also nice having 2 1/2 baths. We saw a deer through the kitchen window one day :-). The location was good - It is only a short drive to Moonstone beach and the village of Cambria. We look forward to staying again.

Very clean

Very very clean place with nice fenced yard with artificial grass for dogs. We did not receive any instructions for electronics and had difficulty getting the front door lock to engage the first time we left the property so we had to contact property mgt. We did not receive check out instructions until after we had left the property. Showers do not have hand held attachments.

Cambria Home

This home looked newly remodeled. It was very clean and had a very nice amount of bath and kitchen towels. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cooking supplies. Each bedroom was comfortable with nice linen. We traveled with our dog. The backyard was very clean and simple with a study gate for the safety of our pet. The house had a nice, functional heater and lots of very hot water. The only thing I would have enjoyed is a television in the main family room. The bedrooms had beautiful televisions but the main sitting area, which was downstairs, did not have a TV.
