“First of all, the duplex is located in a neighborhood that doesn't have any street lamps. We arrived at night, and were greeted by a stray dog in the street. The road leading to the unit is unpaved. The one really easy and good thing about this place was the check-in process. When I couldn't figure out the door because the instructions didn't match the door set up, the host was very communicative and immediately answered and helped us in. “I did not stay at this property as I was unable to gain access and the exterior was like entering the set of a Halloween movie. I am requesting a full refund. It was no where near as it was presented. Total misrepresentation and I have pictures. I did not stay and paid another 300 elsewhere Had guests from Canada and was totally embarrassed that they would think I would ask them to stay in such a disgusting place. You should check your properties before presenting them”

“The room was lovely -spacious, clean, nice decor, comfortable beds. The host was responsive and helpful. The location is quiet, nestled in a beautiful mountain setting in the Sierras. The lady who works at the General Store was very helpful in letting is use her phone when we learned Verizon does not have service up there. The lodge, which is a separate building from the rooms and is closed, is a marvelous piece of mountain architecture that offers beautiful grounds and a Frederick Remington...

“The view is beautiful and perfect way to start the day. The road isn’t paved so just be advised. I grew up in this area so I was prepared, but at night it is definitely dark and steep. The house was cozy and comfortable. This is our second stay and would for sure stay again, the front porch is massive and perfect for large groups and families.
