“When we arrived to the hotel, they informed us there was a storm and they lost power. That is understandable, however they provided no alternative or directions on where we could sleep that night. They only said they were closed and couldn't support or help us in any way. We had driven 3 hours from Edimburgh and had to find another hotel in the middle of the night with very limit knowledge of the area and very poor international phone internet, sitting in a parking lot. “The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was also good. There isn’t much else near the hotel other than the adjacent restaurant. We ordered pizza from the Red Shed (excellent) and brought it tot our room. The actual town is a bit of a walk away (we had already walked a section of the WHW that day so that wasn’t great for us). I would recommend that hikers that need supplies get off the bus at Ballachulish by the coop and then walk back to the hotel).”

“It is a beautiful place, the pool is beautiful and the staff is super friendly, it is a place that I would visit again and that is worth knowing, the only thing that could be improved is that the room smells a little musty and there are no elevators or help if you carry a lot of luggage”
