“The entire campground was very sad looking. The dome as soon as you walked in, you were greeted with an overwhelming smell of must. Upon further looking it appears like there was mold along the sides of the dome. The shower had a bunch of hair within it. The TV couldn’t play anything without having to buffer every 2mins. For what the experience was it was grossly overpriced.”

“The cottage was perfect for our family’s needs. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. Housekeeping was available upon request, although we didn’t use the service. We simply asked for extra towels and left our tied garbage bags on the porch for pickup. The location was ideal. “It was -12 on Portage Lake and we cranked the heat pump up to 75. The Birds Nest cabin needs another heat source. Upstairs was cold when we got back at 10:30 pm after leaving the heat on all day in the cabin.The two full size beds that are pictured is one that’s on the bottom of a metal bunk bed frame and the other is upstairs where the roof is pitched so one side has no head room to accommodate two grown adults.New owners shut the water off for the winter.
