Very cosy, mini hotel:)

I have already recommended this little hotel to my friends. Run by friendly couple who is there to help you anytime and staff were friendly always attentive so my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our little escape from city life. Recommend anyone who would like to have some quality time in a fabulous village.

Gorgeous and comfortable!

Spectacular property. Very beautiful and quiet, yet just steps from the village and the Acropolis. The room was very spacious, with a great bed (firm, yet not hard), and lovely art, including a breathtaking glass headboard. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. This unique yet inexpensive place was memorable!

Assos un paesino da scoprire

L'hotel si trova all'interno di Behramkale, un piccolo paesino acciottolato, la vista dalla camera era spettacolare in quanto il paesino si trova su un promontorio che sovrasta da un lato una valle e dall'altro il mare. Camera spaziosa e pulitissima, il personale veramente speciale cerca di farti sentire a casa e soprattutto ha ottimi suggerimenti per ristoranti e spiagge da visitare. Fidatevi, una vera chicca!

Wonderful stay

Where do I begin? Warmly greeted by Ece the owner. This is the most wonderful place to stay. It is situated in a very quaint, quiet village below the Temple of Athens. From the latter one gets the most amazing views. Our room was just beautiful with a lovely bathroom. There were little touches which made such a difference. Lovely pool, which we enjoyed after our long drive, along with a glass of freshly made lemonade. Breakfast was a feast to behold,and delicious. Our only regret was that we couldn't have stayed longer.

Zeer prettige B&B, zeer goede service

Mooie en grote kamer (Orsa) met een prachtig uitzicht over de heuvels. Goed bed en 's nachts lekker rustig. Prima zwembad. Uitstekend en gevarieerd ontbijt met lokale en zelfgemaakte producten. Assos Alarga onderscheidt zich door de uitmuntende service en gastvrijheid van de eigenaresse/manager Eçe én door haar assistente Ayșen met haar aanstekelijke vrolijkheid. Zonder enige twijfel: aanbevolen!

sehr gute Lage, man kann in 5 Minuten zu Fuß den Tempel erreichen; toller Blick, leckere Frühstück mit Rührei, Pfannkuchen etc., wir würden immer wieder hier übernachten

Almost didn't want to go out to see the sights

This is a lovely place with adorable owners. Our room was very comfortable with a view, and even the bathroom was cute with fish tiles and a real vanity. There is a courtyard and an open living area overlooking the swimming pool. We ate a homey dinner by the pool that was prearranged and the breakfasts are enormous. I'm sorry we only stayed one night. They are right beside the Temple of Athena in the village of Behkramkale. The owners gave us tips for the area, too. Don't miss this place.

Absolutely recommend it. The breakfast setting in the morning was fantastic. The hostess is delightful. We felt really welcome. I would definitely stay there again

Una bellissima Guest House, con sole 3 camere molto curate e pulite. Veramente un soggiorno delizio. La proprietaria Ece, che parla anche italiano è molto carina, disponibile e ti fa sentire a casa. Ti vizia! In camera ci sono accapatoi, ciabattine e saponette alle rose oltre che a tutto l'occorente per fare the e caffè. La prima colazione è qualcosa di indimenticabile. Ece ti apparecchia la tavola nel patio, sul terrazzo, oppure in piscina e ti porta marmellate, formaggi, pane caldo, biscotti, cioccolatini, olive, miele, frutta e verdura fresca e uova calde...tutto buonissimo!

sehr nett!!

Also, der Aufenthalt in Assosalargo war wirklich toll. Ece ist eine klasse Frau, die einem in allen Lebenslagen super zur Seite steht. Für den Preis von über 100 Euros hätte ich mir jedoch etwas mehr Komfort gewünscht: Kühlschrank, Fernseher etc. Aber, nichts desto trotz: Ece und ihre liebevolle Art sind unschlagbar!!!! Wer Ruhe und Romantik in einem Bergdorf möchte, ist hier richtig aufgehoben.

Truly wonderful boutique hotel

What a gem of a place. Everything from the wonderful warm welcome to the finishing touches in the room and the amazing breakfast by the pool. I cant recommend this place enough, moments away from the beautiful ruins and set amongst the village. Sadly one night was not enough and we are already planning our next trip there. If you are looking for a place to stay in Assos this really is an excellent choice. First class hosts who take pride in their attention to detail and to their guests.

Klein aber fein!!

Ein sehr spezielles Hotel! Wer einen persönlichen Umgang mit Anbindung zu Land und Leuten sucht ist hier genau richtig untergebracht. Selten bekommt man eine so herzliche und kompetente Betreuung wie hier. Egal ob man Fragen zu Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten oder Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat, die Vermieterin gibt Ihre Kenntnisse und Tipps gerne weiter. Das kleine Haus besticht durch sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Zimmer, in denen Details liebevolle aufeinander abgestimmt sind. Das kleinste Hotel am Ort liegt zentral an den antiken Ausgrabungsstätten unmittelbar an den Felsen gebaut und bietet einen Weitblick aufs Land. Uns hat es sehr gefallen und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Tyrkiets dejligste vært

Selv om vi boede på fem forskellige hoteller under vores ferie i Tyrkiet, der hver især var fantastiske og havde sine fordele, så er der ingen tvivl om, at Assos Alarga og ejeren Ece står tilbage som feriens bedste minde. Indrømmet - det var ikke det dyreste eller mest luksuriøse hotel af dem, vi boede på, og beliggenheden var heller ikke det mest turistprægede (hvilket var et bevidst ønske fra vores side efter hhv. badeferie og ophold i hhv. Istanbul). Til gengæld var morgenmaden suveræn og hjemmelavet fra bunden af, swimmingpoolen lækker og til vores fri afbenyttelse på tomandshånd og poolbord samt bordtennis lækre bonusforlystelser i tilknytning til aftenerne med suveræn udsigt til stjernehimmelen fra vores private terrasse. Bedst af alt var dog de mange og ofte lange snakke med værtinden Ece, der var særdeles velreflekteret og interessant at snakke med samtidig med at hun havde lige så let til latter som os selv.

Assos Alarga - Warm, elegant and very comfortable

A beautiful and cozy villa at the skirts of the Athena Temple; very friendly manager (Ece) and staff. There are only three rooms in the hotel and it was highly romantic as the other two rooms were vacant for the day. A bit on the pricy side, understandably, and highly recommended.

Best quiet comfortable place in Assos - Behramkale, Turkey

Assos Berhramkale: Delightful small hotel with wonderful view. My husband and I have just spent three wonderful days in Assos Alarga - Guest House Assos - Behramkale, Turkey House perched on the hill just below the Temple of Athena. Cool evening breezes, decent sized swimming pool. House renovated as private vacation home by one of Istanbul's leading hotel architects and now run as a very small boutik otel by the delightful and helpful English-speaking owner. Minutes by car down the hill to the old port of Assos. Twenty minutes drive to delightful and secluded beaches. Spacious rooms with stupendous views across the valley. Great retreat: we came for a night and stayed three !

A Wonderful Little Hotel

The Assos Alarga is perched sheltering beneath the ruins of Assos with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. It is small so book early, as this is a gem that should not be missed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, nicely decorated with neat finishing touches such as the beaded bags for all the normal accessories. The owner and staff were welcoming and most helpful with good advice on the local sights. The meals were excellent and served with pleasant informality. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Alarga Assos - A wonderful place

I can't say enough good things about the Alarga Assos and our hostess Ece. The pictures posted are accurate. We loved our one night stay and will be back, I want to be able to enjoy the pool and garden and the harbor in warmer weather. Peaceful, romantic, charming describe the home and its surroundings. I feel like I made a friend in Ece. If you're touring Gallipoli and Troy, make this your base.

Assos Alarga : un petit paradis sur terre !

Cet hôtel est un petit paradis sur terre ! Etabli dans une ancienne bâtisse en pierre de taille du village sauvegardé de Behram, lequel tranche heureusement avec le bétonnage dont la côte souffre un peu plus loin, il est à deux pas de l’unique temple grec de style dorique d’Asie Mineure et à quelques minutes du magnifique port d’Assos. Il compte seulement trois chambres, dont les beaux meubles anciens jouxtent des éléments de confort moderne très bien réalisés. La vue sur la vallée et la côte égéenne est superbe. En sus de ses terrasses et jardin où il fait bon lézarder, il dispose d’une piscine, d’un billard et d’une table de ping-pong. La propriétaire, Ece (prononcez « édjé »), est véritablement aux petits soins pour ses hôtes ! Avec sa grande expertise du tourisme, elle prodigue volontiers à ceux qui le désirent, dans un anglais parfait, de nombreux renseignements et anecdotes sur l’histoire, la gastronomie et les lieux à visiter de son pays. Elle nous a fait découvrir des endroits incroyables ! De tout notre périple en Turquie, c’est, et de loin, l’établissement que nous avons préféré. Nous le recommandons chaudement ! Pour ceux dont le GPS, comme le mien, ne trouverait pas l’adresse d’Assos Alarga, voici sa position exacte : N 39° 29.569’ ; E 26° 20.217’.

A Delight!

The rooms were beautifully furnished and very clean. The food was excellent and plentiful. We got to eat dinner under a pergola by the pool and breakfast on a terrace overlooking the rolling hills. I loved swimming in the infinity edge pool next to a stone structure built into the hillside. You canalso take a 3 minute stroll to the Temple of Athena for an amazing view! Worth every penny!
