Everything was great until I went to iron my shirt for work. The worst ironing board and iron I have ever seen in a hotel room. The irons base looked like it had been dragged from Sydney to Canberra on a gravel road and the moment you put pressure on the ironing board it collapsed. I only had 45 minutes before I left the premises so I persevered, there was no point complaining at the time.

I’ve stayed at Abode Aparthotels in the UK and they are great value for money using them in Oz was equally as good. Very well kept, clean and well maintained.

Had an odd smell initially, opened the balcony screen door for a while and it went away. Spacious unit with decent facilities, parking was easily available.

when i went to check in our room had been given to some one else my check in form still had my name on it but the phone number and e-mail had been crossed out and someone else name put on it we where given room 54 which was musty smelling no paper work was filled out all this took 20/30 minutes which mad us late and no time to complain about the smell

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and tidy. Downside was the kitchenette was grossly inadequate. Room was booked for 4 people (could have slept extra as the couch was a fold out). There wasn’t enough crockery or cutlery for 4 people. The plates were too big for the microwave so couldn’t be used in it. There was a single pot to use for cooking- but no spoon to stir with. The only chopping knife was blunt. I don’t expect much from a hotel with a kitchenette, but this was quite ridiculous.

Excellent place to stay for work, central to all shops. Only issue was Macca's taking drive through at 5am in the morning. Upside was walking distance to the little pub on the corner called Siren's it is a great place to relax in after work. Meals and staff were excellent as well. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Last minute booking for a work trip from Melbourne. Easy to park and walk to reception. Friendly staff greeted me and check in was quick. Freaked out when I saw another guest checking with a 'dog'. Had I have known it was a pet friendly hotel I wouldn't have come here. But fortunately I didn't hear any animals. Room was nice and view wasn't too bad. Well furnished. Close to various dinner options - all within walking distance. Check out was self check out and easy. However silly me left jewellery in my room. Fortunately I called a help desk and they cut a key remotely to allow me back in to retrieve. Was very appreciative. Overall enjoyed the venue
