  • THE FLAT

    This is a self contained flat with a separate access. The flat has a bed room, a living area and a kitchen with dining area. There is an attached private toilet with shower and a laundry with a washing machine (with clothes line outside). The bedroom has a queen bed and a study nook .

    The living area has a 3 seater + 2 seater sofa with a TV

    The flat has a 4 seater dining table. The kitchen has an electric cooking range . If you are looking for a home cooked meal or too lazy to drive out, the kitchen has sufficient pots and pans to cook up a great meal. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, a refrigerator, a rice cooker and a slow cooker.

    We are pet lovers , would love you to bring along your pet. We prefer small dogs due to

    We have enclosed area wherein in your pet would be safe .

    We expect you to be responsible for your pet's behaviour and keeping the yard and the flat clean etc.

    Gordon is one of the southern most suburbs of Canberra , which means we are close to Thredbo & Perisher.
    If you are driving in from Sydney heading to the snows , stay or base yourself at our place –it is only two hours away to the snow.

    Great walks with lovely views of the Brindabellas and ,great drives to Tidbinbilla, Corin forest and Pine forest.

    The Sanctuary at Tidbinbilla offers fabulous nature based experiences and a great way to discover our natural world. A large wetlands ecosystem surrounded by bushland and protected by a predator-proof fence provides sanctuary for a range of native animals in a natural setting.

    Gordon is located in Tuggeranong of ACT

    The City or Civic as we call it is 20KM from our home

    The Parliament and other places of interest like National Museum ,National Library , Art Gallery are around 18 KM

    Places of Local interest
    Lanyon Homestead- 13 minutes drive or a 22 minutes bike ride.
    Markets - Tuggeranong Homestead Community Markets
    ( First Sunday of Every Month) is 3 KM

    Theatres and concert halls - Limelight Cinemas -Tuggeranong
    Hyperdome Shopping Centre is 3 KM and the Hoyts cinema is another few kms away.

Pet friendly!

Thank you for a comfortable stay. This place was close to our family and allowed us to bring our little dog. We recommend this place and the breakfast was a real treat. We will be staying again!

Suited us perfectly ...

Surprisingly roomy and the location suited us. Fully tiled which is "pawfect" for our little pooches, and the heaters kept the place cosy for all of us. Heerak & Amrita were warm and engaging hosts too.

Loved this place - 4 rooms in total, including a well-equipped kitchen. Great for longer stays. Nice and private, and a friendly host as well. Oh, and an EV charger!

Quiet location, stayed very cool without air conditioning despite 34 degrees. Not really recommended if you have a dog as there is no yard for them to run.

Great dog friendly space

A well equipped unit! Loved the inclusion of the airfryer! Host was very helpful and communicative. The unit had everything we needed and Tilly was happy in her secure side yard for wanderings.

Well equipped unit

Large one bedroom unit with well equipped kitchen and laundry area. A lovely welcome gift of bread, eggs and butter was not expected. Tiled floor throughout perfect for pets. Secure, private side yard was much appreciated by our pooch. Our host was easily contactable and very obliging. Quiet position in suburbia with shops only a short drive away. We were so pleased to have found this place while we waited for our new unit to be completed. Thanks so much. appreciated by our pooch.

Wonderful accommodation with all the amenities you would need and a good amount of space. Gordon is a quiet suburb (which I love). Heerak and Amrita are both lovely. Would recommend. :)

Dog friendly

Our hosts were happy to have our Shetland sheepdog stay after our dog sitting arrangements fell thru. It was perfect for both our dog and ourselves. Outdoor area was small but fine for a smaller dog and we left her inside whilst away. Plenty of walks around the area.

The property was exactly what we were after. The host was very friendly and helpful. The milk, bread, eggs and butter in the fridge were a pleasant surprise. Our dog Ellie also enjoyed her stay.

Private, safe, all amenities

A very comfortable and spacious flat with all the amenities a traveller and visitor wants. There is a private entry with a small closed off area, perfect for dog owners. The hosts were friendly and helpful while respecting privacy.

Comfortable, clean property

Nice, comfortable and clean property with caring host. Most importantly this property is dog friendly, which is essential for us as we always travel with our little furry companion. There should be more properties available of this standard that are dog friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Welcoming while privacy respected

Very private with own entrance, a small courtyard good for a dog, and very comfortable, though not luxurious unit. I felt at home. The owners checked in to make sure all was OK and had food ready for me after a long journey so I didn’t have to shop immediately.

Perfect stay with our fur baby

Spacious separate areas and all floors tiled which was perfect for our pup. Nice area to walk with the dog. Close to main roads and access to all of the ACT Welcoming host and provided us with some basic food supplies.
