This place had everything for a group of seven adults. Perfect for a ski getaway. Hot tub was clean and massive. Exceptionally stocked kitchen wise would definitely stay here again!

3.5 Stars - I understand that with large and frequently used facilities there are some scrapes and scuffs along the way to be expected - however the cleanliness of this rental was unacceptable.First, the location was amazing and the size of the rental was great! The rooms were comfortable, hot tub was great, dining area and kitchen were perfect for our group. The team was quick to respond and easy to contact! We very much enjoyed our stay here but the cleanliness was distracting.We had received notification that the cleaners were done and we could check in early - this should not have been allowed. Floors were not mopped and very dirty. Showers and bathrooms were not cleaned with soap scum very visible that could've been scrubbed off. Windows to patio were filthy. There was a layer of dust on basically all services and baseboards. Multiple beds were unmade. Check out was also at 11, but by 1020 the cleaners were already there trying to load in their equipment. This was annoying as we were trying to pack up and load our vehicles, creating a lot of congestion in the entry way. We would love to stay here again, but that aspect was disappointing.

We had a phenomenal time at the Sunshine Retreat. Everything exceeded our expectations upon entering the property. We all said that we wished we could have stayed another two or three days. The steam room was an added bonus, despite the fact that I was one of the few who didn't get to enjoy it!

The house worked out great overall. Good location. Lots of rooms and bathrooms. The upstairs master bedroom bed apparently was not that supportive (it sinks down in the middle). But no other complaints about the other beds. Kitchen has everything you need. Lots of furniture, nice views, hottub was nice to have. Parking is a bit tight to pull in if you have a large vehicle. But very convenient to have that spot right there. Overall we were very happy.

Canmore Two Story house

Efficient use of space in both the upper and lower floors. The unit sits within a parking area for other multiple smaller units although it has its own covered parking space. The view outside the upstairs living area is impressive although there is a large hotel structure being built that partially obstructs the view. There is a train track very close by which can be view positively (if you like the sound of trains) or negatively (if you don't like being awakened somewhat early in the morning by a train). Overall a good place for a larger group to launch their visit up to Banff and Canmore is charming.

Thank you for the upgrade. Sunset Retreat has a gorgeous view, quiet and safe neighborhood, spacious home, solid structure, good sound insulation, good lighting, some nice bedrooms. Appreciate the piano in the living room, the telescope for star gazing, and the ping pong table in the basement. However, there a general lack of maintenance as show by the dying house plants (we watered them), dirty and worn lanai furniture, poor condition of the recreation equipment in the garage, and unsafe cookware in the kitchen (we tightened the screws for the very loose handles of the wok and frying pan).

Friends reunion

We had a large group of long time friends reuniting. We found the house so clean and it was comfortable for everyone’s needs. Beautifully set up and decorated. The kitchen was so well stocked and there were very thoughtful touches throughout the house. We really appreciated all the helpful information and well planned spaces for and supplies.

Great 10 Bed Accommodations

10 person ski trip to ski the Big 3. Plenty of room for all, great out door grill and hot tub. Everyone had a great time and never felt crowded. We could all sit down for homemade meals at large dinning table. I would definitely recommend for large groups.

Great place for a big group

Had a great stay here. Very clean and a lot of space. Quick drives to Banff, Sunshine Village, and Norquay. Lake Louise about 1 hour but beautiful and easy drive. Asked host a question and they immediately responded. Easy check in and check out. Overall highly recommend!
