Great amenities in convenient location

Plenty of space for our needs. Kitchen provided enough for us to food prep for the days of hiking and adventures. Washer and dryer came in very handy as well. Highly recommended for anyone in the area

Get Away

We always try to spend a quiet week in Canmore before Christmas. The location was an easy walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Very quiet. Just what we needed.

Convenient and lovely stay

The Mountaineer was a perfect spot to stay for a few nights as we explored Banff, conveniently located and had all the amenities we needed. The unit was a bit hard to get into but the host was very fast and helpful. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

The property has a hidden fee of C$ 70 which is not mentioned anywhere while booking. Only when you do the check-in process, it is asked to pay (non refundable). The elevator is miserably slow. There was a power outage in the apartment on the second day of our stay, though the host was responsive and issue was resolved in a hour or so. Third day, the wifi stopped working, we had to connect with the host again for that. There’s no scenic view from the balcony and there’s no dedicated hot tub, it’s in a common area. I feel it was falsely advertised. There was very limited utensils and kitchen is not fully equipped so come prepared. Property is fairly clean but I feel it’s very overpriced for the amenities it offers.

Great location!

Easy access to Banff National Park. Nice family breakfast place around the corner. Just a little close to the freeway but nothing that a little brown noise could not cover for as we slept well at the end of each adventure filled day. Living room could use one more comfortable chair for movie watching with party of four. Otherwise, we loved the whole experience and would recommend the place again.

Another fun stay at Grande Rockies Resort

This resort has a great pool that my kids like and the cost is good for what you get. The process and host made it easy. The room is as described, but whole resort isn't as nice as it appears in photos. It's cheap feeling and you're at the mercy of the sound levels of every suite around you. The suite and building show wear and odd/cheap layout and finishing choices. The parkade is convenient, but dim, cramped, and dusty. As long as you know what you are getting, it's a convenient, fun home for a family that we've stayed at more than once.

Disappointed

Suite was rundown, cupboards were all loose or didn’t close, lots of chips on walls, bbq was filthy and there were even old chicken bones sitting inside it. We couldn’t even use it. No towels or robes were provided for the pool. Wouldn’t recommend this suite.

Christmas in Canmore

The pictures online were taken some time ago and artfully taken. The kitchen utensils were under stocked - we had to share one dinner knife, there were no garbage bags and no glass cleaner for the glass topped dining table. Kitchen tap had a broken piece, handle on BBQ was broken, there were paint chips and minor wall damage throughout. The building itself is unwelcoming and being repaired and painted during our stay and so hot. The vending machine didn’t work, the restaurant hours were unclear and unwelcoming, the front entrance staff was either unable or unwilling to help, The view from the only window, not in a bedroom, was beautiful, the underground parking was great, location decent. First time using VRBO and likely the last. Don’t feel like I got the experience I was hoping for at that price point.

Amazing stay very clean place and everything was readily available. Close to a lot of amenities have to go into the hot tub.

Wonderful stay

Clean property good location . Power went out phoned the owner fixed in 5 min. Nice swimming pool in building. Was a wonderful get away

August Home application a little confusing for Seniors. Unit needs some repairs. Have advised the owner of them. Overall a satisfactory stay but not sure why the check out info wanted us to clear the garbage and wash all the dishes when the amount paid included 150.00 in cleaning fees??

Could be a nice place but maintenance on it was in desperate need. Broken showers, bbq, stools, window handles, coffee table, thermostat, lights burnt out and dirty dishes. Oven mitt had a large hole in it and I burnt my hand, cutting board was in two pieces. The tv didn’t have any sound when on the cable box. The code to get into the door didn’t work. It was a terrible experience and was not corrected after I had mentioned it to the rep. Very disappointing that they don’t keep the place maintained and even more the response I received after I mentioned all this issues to them. I will not be staying anywhere Instant suites rents.

Very convenient location! Had a great stay. Apartment is very nice. Adeel was awesome to deal with. Very accommodating and responded to our questions very quickly. We definitely will stay here again!

A lovely stay

Canmore is a nice vacation community with plenty of shopping and lots of outdoor activities nearby. We especially enjoyed hiking West Wind Pass and Grassi Lakes trails. We ate our packed lunches many times close to lakes and rivers. Also Canmore is close to all the activities along the Banff-Jasper corridor. Next time, we'll rent canoes and bikes. The accommodation listed here is very modern and in great condition. We did not use the tablet computer, fireplace, master bedroom TV or shower steam functions, so we can't comment on those, but everything we did use, from microwave to dishwasher to living room TV to WiFi worked flawlessly. The unit is well soundproofed, so its proximity to the Trans-Canada Highway was no problem at all. All in all, we had a great vacation and would definitely do it again. Thanks Adeel.
