  • Needing a rural place to get away? This cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath house that sleeps 6 has a front row seat to the beauty of The Ohio River. Relax on our deck, relax river side by the outdoor fire pit, or watch the barge traffic from inside. The house sits within minutes of The Hoosier National Forest offering hiking / fishing and a peaceful atmosphere, 50 minutes from Holiday World, and 55 minutes from French Lick. (WIFI, NO WATER ACCESS)

Beautiful view, perfect house for a couples retreat or just a get away weekend. Kid friendly as well. Gorgeous house and property & absolutely QUIET!! Loved our stay and will definitely be back!

I stayed 3 nights at the cabin for a solo "get away from it all" trip. The property is a perfect spot to sit and relax. I spent most of my time in the porch swing watching the barges going up and down the river. I even got to see some of the local wildlife. The cabin was exactly as described and was spotless. I would definitely stay there again.

My sisters and I took my mom away for a long weekend. The cabin was absolutely Beautiful, the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on compared to any other rentals I have stayed in before. The sunrises were absolutely stunning and watching the barges go up and down my mom truly enjoyed sitting on the swing on the porch. It was a little remote but truly worth the drive.

The cabin more than met our expectations. It is a beautiful and well appointed home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay: the Ohio River scenery, dawns and dusks over the river, cooking over the fire pit, and the walks up and down the river including Buzzard Roost.

Quiet, beautiful stay- River View from the upper deck is the star of the show. The cabin is spotless, comfy, and nicely decorated.

We enjoy this peaceful place. We had lunch at the Overlook in Leavenworth before checking in on a Friday.

Great get-away!

Absolutely loved this place! Great location, great views of the Ohio, beautiful cabin that had everything we needed and a well stocked kitchen, awesome firepit, and so much more! We will definitely be back!

Second time our group has stayed at your cabin. We had a great weekend. Everything we needed was there. Setup was wonderful for one of our group that couldn’t do stairs. Planning our next trip back.
