We stayed in cottage#2 and the place has been recently renovated with very comfy beds and ac in every rm. If you want to pay 3 star prices but want 5 star amenities this place isn't for you but your okay with 3 star value this place hits it out of the park. note swimming is an issue with all the weeds ”

“The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. “We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of seating indoors and out, nice access to the water for adults and children, and the kitchen was well stocked. You might want to be bring your own can opener, though . Our host was gracious and responded to our questions quickly. Highly recommend! ”

“Everything was great, John was a terrific host and met us there to make sure we knew everything prior to the stay. Location is awesome right on the lake with great sunsets. Tons of bugs but that is to be expected when on the water. Rafts, canoe and everything available to use so no worries about extra packing. We will definitely book again and would recommend this to anyone especially couples. Wifi was a bit spotty but with the lake and the beautiful weather we had there was no need for it!”

“Excellent location very responsive host. The only thing that was inaccurate in the listing was the total of bedrooms. On the listing it has eight bedrooms and unfortunately, this place only has five bedrooms and one out of the five bedrooms is a child’s room so it won’t sleep two people comfortably.our group was 6 couples and it was hard to deal with bedroom arrangements. The property lacked maintenance overall. Will definitely rent again in the future but only maximum 4 couples. ”
