“We loved the property. Our kids had a blast playing outside and we were greeted by many deer during our stay. We would definitely advise having a 4x4 during the winter, we had to use 4x4 multiple times while we were there. The only thing we would have changed would be the darkness of the curtains in the rooms. We were able to sit around the fire pit on the porch and grill while we were there. The fully equipped kitchen allowed us to save so much money by cooking. We will definitely be back!”

“We truly enjoyed our time on Walton's Mountain. The Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. The relaxing hot tub was a hit after hiking the trails, ziplining and taking in the beautiful views. It is just minutes away from downtown Manitou Springs for shopping, dining and entertainment. We also enjoyed the Cave Dwellings, Cave of the Winds and the Garden of the Gods. John, thank you for your quick responses and providing all the necessities!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back. It’s the perfect location in the heart of Salida. Walkable to lots of shops, restaurants, coffee etc. neighboring areas of BV and Leadville were fun to explore as well. Easy access to tons of hikes in the area. Kitchen has everything you need, and everything was very clean.”

“We enjoyed the convenience of this property - Close to town and surrounding attractions. Not as clean as we like (trash still in the cans in the kitchen and noticed the floor was very dirty when we dropped something and had get on our knees to pick it up). Over all a good stay”

“Bella Cottage is as perfect as a home away from home can get. Cute as a button, well-designed and up-to-date, attention to detail, well-stocked kitchen— essentially everything you could want or expect something new to provide for you. I brought a little night light for the bathroom as that is one thing no one ever includes— well, guess what? Not only do they have a few placed around the cottage, but there are 2 more for guests to use as needed! I was hoping for a cold night to use the radiant...

“We came down from Denver to take our kids to the Royal Gorge. What a perfect spot for us to stay. The cottage was impeccably clean, decorated fantastically, high end appliances, and Emma’s notes and recommendations were awesome. She was a great host - my son even left a chain there and she was very gracious in letting us go back to get it. Highly highly recommend this place and will be my first choice when we are back down in the area!”

The proximity to all things Colorado Springs is just right, while still being tucked up near the Broadmoor. At the last minute, our return flights were canceled. “I wish it was more clear that you may not be the only people on the property. There is a studio also on the property and it was occupied. We had small kids and that might have factored in to our stay. Also, it has some plumbing issues with the showers that means low pressure and a dangerous mixing valve on one shower. Some rooms get hot and more fans would help. The place is in desperate need of new blinds and curtains; several windows and doors had nothing, even in bedrooms. That's just not...
