I can't say enough about how amazing our vacation was in this house. The location was perfect - very isolated, yet a short drive from grocery/gas/restaurants. The house was incredibly comfortable - we were travelling with 2 teenage boys, so having room to spread out and everyone have their own space was very important to us. The 3-season room was a great place to hang out and drink coffee in the morning before it got too hot out. It's pretty rural, so there are no sidewalks, but we didn't have any issues walking our dog - not a lot of traffic. Also, many of the surrounding roads are unpaved, but still well-kept, so we didn't have any issues driving. There is plenty to do in this area - hiking, kayaking, museums, shopping, horseback riding, and a fantastic water park just a short walk away. I loved our week here and would definitely stay in this house again!

Amazing relaxing getaway. Quiet and just what we needed.

Very rustic and unique design. Comfortable, warm and cozy. Our dog loved the walks, wasn’t too sure about the large staircase so had to carry him. We all had a much needed time away.

Magnifique maison champêtre en forêt

La maison est unique en son genre et magnifique. Comme nous sommes venus l’hiver, l’isolation n’est cependant pas très bonne et il a fallu chauffer avec le poêle à bois, ce qui fut très rustique et agréable une fois au chaud! Le bois est fourni, ce qui fut très apprécié. Les accessoires de cuisine pourraient être renouvellés, mais en général, nous avons adoré le confort de la maison, la fenestration, l’environnement calme. C’est un bel endroit pour se relaxer!

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Some in our party went to ski at Mont Cascades and others enjoyed snowshoeing around the property.Property served us perfectly for 3 adult couples.

Great place and property

We loved out stay in this unique home. Great communication with hosts from before check-in onwards. Lovely and comfortable furnishings with lots of interesting touches. Plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out and a well-equipped kitchen and bookshelves. Great location too -- very close to the ski hill and, for those who don't ski, walking in the neighbourhood is lovely. We would definitely return!

Wonderful cottage full of character

Beautiful cottage, full of character, we loved the old style, fireplace, comfortable in all respects. Equipped with everything you need. We spent a few days over Christmas, had snow and it felt like a winter paradise.
