Buffalo Junction es una casa de huéspedes completamente amueblada ubicada a 2 cuadras de la super linda plaza del centro de Canyon, a 6 cuadras de WTAMU y a 12 millas de Palo Duro Canyon.

Construida en 1920, esta casa cuenta con techos altos y pisos de madera noble originales. Ha sido completamente remodelado y tiene 3 dormitorios, 2 baños, una cocina con todo lo necesario para hacer una comida casera, un lavadero, un patio con parrilla, dos cómodas salas de estar con TV por cable, Wi-Fi y un sofá cama. . Las habitaciones están totalmente amuebladas. Dos con una cama queen y la otra un rey.
Esta maravillosa propiedad es súper encantadora y cómoda, y tiene todo lo que necesita para sentirse como en casa.

Home away from home.

5 days, located near downtown Square. Farmers Market on Saturday was great. Pleasant neighborhood. Great place to establish a regional base camp while exploring the community, Palo Duro State Park and surrounding attractions.

Canyon 4th Tradition

Perfect place to bring my two boys to see the 4th done right. The house was clean, spacious and I’m the perfect spot to walk to the square and catch the parade. Glad to have nice places like these to come back to the city I was raised in.

Spring Break Hiking Trip

The house is very clean and charming, and had all the comforts of home. It’s close to the area attractions and downtown, so you can walk to several restaurants on the square. We (including our dog) enjoyed our stay very much!!

Buffalo Junction Stay

I have family in Canyon and Amarillo. The location was perfect for seeing family, experiencing downtown Canyon and Palo Duro Canyon. Buffalo Junction is a house filled with character and charm. Everything was well kept clean and enjoyable!

Quick but very enjoyable visit

We very much enjoyed our one night stay at Katye's house. She's a wonderful thoughtful hostess! The house was very comfortable and the location of the house is perfect to the historic square. We highly recommend breakfast at the Ranch House Cafe, especially Mama T's biscuits and gravy! If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stay at Katye's house.

Great Guest House in heart of Canyon

Buffalo Junction has to be my favorite VRBO to date! The layout of the home allowed privacy for each member of the family. The sitting room and master suite was cozy. The host kept original components of home, complimented with antiques, but added modern touches. Walking distance to beautiful town square with shops, restaurants (shout out to Joe's Tacos), and LaBella's pizza nearby was best pizza, according to young adults. Both Palo Duro Canyon and Amarillo were a short drive away. The host thought of everything, but a supermarket and Walmart were nearby. If you are in Canyon, this is a must see!

We loved our visit. Buffalo Junction was everything pictured and then some. Several upgrades throughout the cottage: comfy mattresses, luxury linens/sheets, coffee cart with an assortment of beverage options, a snack basket upon arrival, well stocked kitchen for dishes & utensils, a candy dish of mints, various books & videos & games for entertainment, soft & cozy living room furniture with soft throws, very cool air conditioning, good water pressure for showering, etc, mostly quiet but some high speed traffic noted on 19th St in the night, 1-2 blocks from restaurants, inside washer & dryer with detergent, full sized microwave, oven, & frig, comfortable & private outdoor seating, easy-entry with personal keypad code, inside night lights, nicely decorated & clean, efficient/modern potty with odor spray too unique alternative to a motel & offers privacy with 2-3 bedrooms, good outside lighting, shampoo/conditioner & body wash available, and the house is pleasant smelling.We wld stay here again if the need arose & I think that speaks volumes given there are other accommodation options in the area. We were a group ranging in ages 52, 49, & 20 and we wld recommend staying here if you get the opportunity; we think you'll love it, esp if you enjoy low-key, quiet, & nostalgic surroundings.

Perfect house for our stay.

House was clean and perfect for my dad, sister and I to stay and visit Palo Duro Canyon. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed, beds were comfortable, and great location to walk the town for shops and eating.

Checked all the boxes! Must stay!

We traveled into town to attend the Palo Duro Canyon Trail Run and this was the perfect choice for convenience and comfort! Everything was just as described and we loved our weekend stay. The water pressure in the bathroom has set a new standard because it was an AMAZING shower and a huge bonus for me, the sheets were SO soft I looked at the tags to buy them before we left! We would highly recommend staying and will return should we do the Canyon again!

Great Stay

We stayed so we could see Palo Duro Canyon. The house was centrally located in town with easy access to the canyon. Great place to stay.

Location, Location!

The house was perfect! We were 3 adults but if you had kids, the fenced in yard is like a big, safe playpen! The room situation would allow to have the kids tucked in and watch a movie in the other room or just have quiet time. The house is in a quiet neighborhood except for the noisy doves! Everything needed is in walking distance and the Canyon is only a 20 minute drive. Highly recommend

Spring Break at Palo Duro

Had a great time at Buffalo Junction. Really enjoyed the space for the two of us and our two young adult children. Everybody had their own sleeping quarters and the second living area was nice for my 22 yr old son w/ASD to watch the shows he wanted to watch at night and work on his computer. It also gave my 21 yr old daughter a space at night to work on her college hw when we were done for the day. Plenty of space to cook our meals, though we brought most of our meal items pre-cooked and mostly had to reheat. Nice coffee station. We had our small pup with us and we appreciated the pet cover on the one piece of furniture she could sit. She was content on her own little bed we brought with us most of the time but every now and then she wanted to be up with us. My daughter and I took the advice of Katye to walk to the square and enjoyed Palace Coffee Co and the gift shop near there. We also took the advice to visit the honey farm on our way back from Palo Duro Canyon and enjoyed their mead and small bites. We really appreciated all of the tips in the folder for eateries, etc. A few minor things: laundry was left in the dryer for before we arrived, so we had to put it on top and I’m sure it didn’t stay too clean—sorry! The backyard had a lot of other dog waste that had not been picked up—we picked up all of ours (she doesn’t go much) and my hubby spent time picking up a good. It if the other that was there because it didn’t make for a pleasant aroma; however some of that smell we figured out was the dumpster behind the house and once the waste removal came it helped a lot. Thanks for the great experience!

Can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing place, clean, plenty of amenities, spacious, and very comfortable. But I would say the best part of this place is the location. 5 minute walk max to Canyon square with great shops and restaurants. 15 minutes to Palo Duro Canyon with amazing hiking and views and 15 minutes from Amarillo…very centrally located!! We will be back!

Perfect location

We had a great time at Buffalo Junction. The house is decorated in such a cute and comfy style. We loved being close to town and able to shop and eat on the square, but also just a short drive away from Palo Duro Canyon. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great location

Close to ships and restaurants. Cute house, very comfortable. Perfect for the 5 of us. The host was available right away when needed. We would definitely stay there again.
