“Quick one night stay at the beginning of the Cabot Trail! Property is right on the Cabot Trail Road and in front of the marina. Perfect for what we needed. Bit offended by the ‘tip’ jar. We paid a cleaning fee, a service fee and the overnight fee. Bathroom needs a bit of love - bathtub caulking was a bit ick and the extraction fan disgusting. But those things aside bed was comfy, had all the amenities needed and close to many food options! Appreciated the washer and dryer for sure! ”

“Visiting from BC to surprise my sister for Christmas. Trip was her Christmas gift and my wife has never been to CB. Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. The room was quiet and warm. Would stay here again.”

“If you like solitude and nature, Big Intervale will give you that! The property is beautiful and off the beaten path. There are no services nearby so if you’re visiting off season, be sure to gas up and bring your toothbrush and snacks. It’s a good 20-30 minutes on a dirt road to get in or out of the cabins. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. ”

“We had an amazing stay at Barbara's place. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a larger group, with plenty of room to relax, cook, and enjoy meals together. The views of the surrounding nature were breathtaking, and the location was ideal for exploring all the beauty Cape Breton Island has to offer. Barbara was thoughtful and responsive, making sure everything was just right. We’d absolutely stay here again—highly recommended!”

“To be honest, we had a little trouble finding the camper. I think that was VRBO's fault though, and the fact that our US sat/nav wasn't working in Canada. But we did find it. The camper is very nice and clean, with everything that we needed for a pleasant stay. It was very nice to find that the owner of the property lives right next door, and when we needed a reboot of our breakers, he was right there to fix it immediately. All in all, a very pleasant experience!! Wish it had been the summer so...
