Overall, the house was fine and in a great location. We liked that it was close to the neighborhood park. I am not sure I'd consider it walkable (especially for older adults), but we rented a golf cart so it was fine. We were quickly disappointed that none of the bedrooms had curtains, just cheap vinyl blinds, and it was BRIGHT (not good for adults or kids!). For the price of the listing, there should have been blackout shades. We had to unplug the patio lights because they stayed on after 11 p.m.. Between that and no curtains, it was like daylight in our rooms. We ended up hanging towels over the windows. The house overall was quite cute (would love to see nautical decor in the master, though!). I also appreciated supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, and lots of towels. There was no salt though, so make sure to bring your own! We were really looking forward to the outdoor area and the upper deck, but unfortunately the house was COVERED in thick spider webs, spider eggs and well, spiders, so we didn't spend much time outside. I did expect this area to be cleaner for the cost of the house. Hidden behind the sectional in the living room, there was a big spiderweb INSIDE the house - so that was not enjoyable leaning your head back to see a big spider! Overall, I think this is a nice place for adults as long as it gets some attention to cleaning and window coverings. I would not recommend this house for kids under 4.
