Great House Even Better Location!

Perfect location! Amazing kitchen. House comes with a pack and play, and beach chairs which was super helpful. Will be back!

Wonderful Place to stay at in Cape Charles!

We stayed here with 4 adults and 4 children (ages 11-13) and loved it. Check in and out was easy. The location was perfect and we walked to the beach and to all restaurants (we personally never felt like we needed a golf cart to get around). Wonderful backyard to hang out in and great open kitchen layout. The house was clean and we had no issues at all. We would definitely come here again!

We love that you can walk if you’re where you wanna go, whether you looking for a good coffee something nice to eat or just taking in the sides of the beautiful town.Coastal Charmer, was everything we hoped for during our stay.It is well appointed and so comfortable. It feels like a home away from home away from home.

The large kitchen was perfect for my wife and daughter to spend time together preparing the fantastic meals that we had. The house was the perfect size for our family with room to spare. We loved sitting on the front porch to drink coffee in the morning and relax after staying up late for wedding activities. On Sunday we walked to breakfast and had fun shopping. The location was so convenient. We will definitely stay here again for another wedding next year.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was overall good! Our first day was met with upstairs AC that wasn’t working, so that it took about 4 hours to repair. There was quite a mess from all the drilling. The upstairs tub didn’t drain, so we used the downstairs shower during our stay. We enjoyed the size of the kitchen and dining room, and the location of the house was nice.

It was okay

We’ve been coming to Cape Charles for about 6 years now, and this was our least favorite property that we’ve stayed in. The location is great and the house is generally nice (the kitchen is especially great). The four bedrooms were nice for our family of 5. But we had multiple issues that were quite inconvenient, especially considering the cost of stay. The upstairs bathroom tub drain was clogged (property mgmt resolved this with Drano when we notified them). The downstairs bathroom shower was infested with small flying bugs and the shower was completely unusable. Property mgmt came and treated with bug spray, which didn’t resolve the problem but left horrible toxic fumes for the remainder of the week. So the downstairs bathroom was basically unusable. There were also ants throughout the kitchen and laundry area when we arrived. While the house has AC, two of the upstairs bedrooms do not have any sort of air flow and it was very warm at night. Even an oscillating fan would be a huge improvement. We had a couple other minor inconveniences that I won’t bother listing, but we were disappointed and I don’t think we’ll return to this property in the future.

We found the shops to be inviting. Chesapeake Properties was most helpful with questions and one minor tech blip.We definitely will return. The front porch is calling.

Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach or main street (though I recommend bikes for a really great time). The porch was perfect for enjoying the evenings and having your morning coffee. The recently renovated interior brought a modern feel to this 'ol house. I highly recommend this place, especially if you have more than just a few guests.

Can't beat being just over a block from the beach and from shops so location is spot on. Love the space, the amenities and since we decided to cook more at home this year, the kitchen-eating space was exactly what we needed. Already have a hold on it for next year! This is the third time we have gathered children and grandchildren in a rental there and perhaps the best yet, even during a pandemic which kept us from enjoying shops and dining as much as in the past. Hallmark Moments

Our family stayed at this property for Thanksgiving for the last two years. We enjoyed preparing meals in the spacious kitchen, playing board games, walking to the beach for spectacular sunsets and spending quality family time by the outdoor fire pit. Love the location, Cape Charles holiday traditions and the homes lovely decor.

Great Location - A walk to the Beach with Family

Family time well spent over the weekend. Highly recommend for family reunion and other opportunities. Burner: Cost included for customer to pay for cleaning although we cleaned the house before leaving $200 not fair.
