The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. It was well located with just a short drive into town or to the beach. Four adults were quite comfortable there. It made a great central point for discovering the Eastern Shore.

Very easy to check in and out. Clean condo within walking distance to downtown. A bit of a walk to the beach - we ended upDriving and had no issues finding parking. Golf cart is also a good idea.

The property overall was nice, good location, and had a kitchen well stocked with pans and items we needed. We appreciated the games and puzzles provided and used many of them. The place was overall generally clean but could use a good deep clean as we found trash under the beds (when retrieving socks) and dead bugs in the family room when picking up toys just under the coffee table and side table. You can hear the upstairs neighbor’s movements but it didn’t bother us. Overall we’d stay here again.

Great Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great weeks stay for our family of 5! The condo was extremely clean and decorated so cute! The location is good, just a quick few minutes drive to shops, restaurants and the beach. The amenities were great and we appreciated the outdoor shower after a long day at the beach.

Problems at check in

We were able to check in earlier than 4 but when we got in to the property the heat was not working. We notified property manager at 3:00. By 5:00 they reached out to local person who tried to fix it but ended up calling repair company. At 10:00 that night it was repaired. At one point the property manager was going to check on the problem and was going to get back with me but we never heard back. This whole process was unacceptable.

Comfortable home, but a few drawbacks

This was my first time in Cape Charles and booking a Vrbo or any of its kind. Overall, the home was comfortable, with an open floor plan. The location wasn't what I was expecting. The walk to nearby shops and restaurants was a bit further than I thought, so we had to make sure we had comfortable shoes and cool clothing. Just outside the building where the bedroom windows were located, was what looked like the beginning of a junk yard. Needless to say, I was disappointed with the view. The inside of this home was spacious and well-laid out. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware. The dining room table was perfect and there was even a washer/dryer combo unit. We were surprised to find that there was hair on both bathroom floors when we got there, especially since we were told that we could not get early access because the cleaning crew needed time to clean the place. Thankfully, there was a broom and dustpan in the house we used to dust off the floor boards and sweep up the mess. There was even one of those handheld dental flossers that came from under the bathroom vanity. The only other part we weren't happy with was the thermostat. The house was warm when we got there (warm weather outside that day), so we turned on the air conditioning and after returning from dinner, it still wasn't cooled down to the temperature we wanted.

Stay in Cute Little Town

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was super clean and had most of the things we needed. I wish there had been beach towels in addition to the bathroom towels. Also the upstairs neighbors were quite loud and you could hear every step through the ceiling. But overall we enjoyed our stay and the location was super central to everything. We also loved having a bit of flexibility upon checkout and would recommend this stay to friends.

Has killer AC and the Mini courtyard neighbors are awesome. My only suggestion to the owner would be to tee up the kitchen with more pots and pans, but other than that, the space is great

The perfect little get-away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved staying at Sweet Virginia Breeze and hope to stay there again and again. It was perfect for my husband who is on crutches. We were able to walk right in from the parking lot. One bathroom has a walk-in shower, so that was easy for him as well. The only things we would offer as possible improvements would be to add a stackable washer and dryer. There is certainly space. We could also hear the people in the above space walking quite clearly, so maybe adding some insulation in the ceiling. The outside shower wasn't really usable as the weeds had taken over, so cleaning that up would be a suggestion. It's a little far from the beach, but we rented a golf cart and that made it very easy. I highly recommend the golf cart.Otherwise it was amazing!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was clean and most stuff looked new. Everything looked nice.Kitchen was sparely equipped. There was no blender, large pots with lids for seafood boil, corn on the cob or such. No pan for the pizza we bought one night, no 2 qt beverage container. All dishes are heavy and glass or porcelain. Not convenient or child friendly at all. No ceiling fans, we struggled a bit between too hot and too cold.The noise from movement upstairs is very bothersome and we heard everything dropped, moved and shuffled along with footsteps.Smart TV had no local or realtime channels available. If you don't subscribe you ain't watching.The washer dryer combo is small and does not completely dry clothes.Location is not bad but you must realize beach and downtown is not easily walked, must drive to beach.No chest in either bedrooms, wound up leaving most of our cloths in suitcases.Had to hunt for wash cloths and hand towels, 2 bath towels were left on each bed. however had to do some serious searching for wash cloths and towels, found in a bedroom closet.Not a bad spot for someone immune to noise from upstairs, who plans on driving or renting a cart, has no problem with minimum kitchenware and only heavy glass tableware.Not for us, we will next time shoot for closer in, better equipped and no upstairs neighbors.Rented this as a last minute deal, not much else available at the time and the price looked reasonable. However when fees were added the price went up a full 45%. Reasonable became pretty steep at the touch of the reserve button.

Clean and fresh!

The name says it all! This cute condo with its new renovations in shades of blue and teal is so relaxing, just like an ocean breeze! It has everything you will need to cook, clean, and enjoy staying here. The town is adorable but make sure to get a golf cart for the most convenient exploring. The walk to the beach is rough with all the chairs and coolers if you don’t have a golf cart or at least a wagon! We totally enjoyed ourselves.
