Lakeside retreat

We had a good stay at this property. The location was perfect — situated in a good neighborhood and close to everything we needed, which made it both peaceful and convenient. The house itself was spacious and well-maintained, providing plenty of room to relax. We especially liked the lanai and pool area overlooking the lake, which were perfect for unwinding. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. Overall, it was a great place for a longer stay.

A little slice of paradise

Had a great time, spent 8 weeks at this home. Everything was nice and comfortable. Hurricane Ian tore down the cage but we were still able to enjoy the pool area. As did the ducks who visited our pool every day in spite of us chasing them away every day 😁 Owner was available via text as often as needed. Only suggestion is a new mattress. Oh and access to a broom😅

Nightmare Stay!! Worst Experience at a Vacation Rental...

Currently pursuing owner Tom for invasion of privacy and many other issues while staying at the property. Stayed at Tom's property for the month of December, worst experience I have had on any of these booking platforms. - Pool was so dirty we were not able to use, not even once. - Rented home for me and my brother, to begin with property manager lives next door and was caught peeking in multiple times throughout our stay. Had this uncomfortable feeling we were being watched. - Was driving one of our company vans throughout the stay, along with a bmw because we were first responders for hurricane Ida. After the first night home owner threatened to call cops and have us kicked off property if van was not removed ( even though everyone on the block has commercial vehicles, bigger parked in front of their homes). We dealt with many issues the entire month, honestly think owner was profiling us and was trying to find any possible way to squeeze every inch out of the stay (deposit). DO NO RECOMMEND!!

Great stay & host!

Everything was great and exactly as advertised! My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay and Tom and Louise were great and responsive hosts and so were the neighbors. We also appreciated how well equipped the house was and would go back anytime!

Great Place!

Great location, beautiful home, nicely decorated, well maintained, spotlessly clean. Everything was as advertised and promised. Tom was a great host, who even checked in with us after arrival to make sure we were comfortable. We spent much time in the pool/lanai area, which was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was clean, well equipped and well stocked. It is a truly beautiful home that feels like home and is worthy of a second stay. We look forward to another wonderful vacation there next winter. Thanks Tom!

Property was very clean and spacious. The pictures did not do it justice.

The owner was very responsive to questions and got back t ok me immediately. Communication was excellent. The house is on a pretty lake with extensive canals for kayaking. Good fishing too. Close to many conveniences in a quiet neighborhood. The house is bright and airy with many nice features such as motion detector lighting and timers. Nicely stocked pantry too. The best part was the lanai, with many seating areas, a day bed and an awesome grill. Pool furniture was nice and comfortable. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and in Cape Coral!

Bright, cheery home on the water, lots of space

We had a wonderful stay in Tom's house in Cape Coral FL. The house was clean & bright. It was awesome living right on the water of Lake Kennedy. The sliding glass doors opened directly into the huge sunny, screened lanai, which contained the pool and many nice seating areas and a grill. Beyond that is a deck (and boat lift) to sit and enjoy the lake. The home inside also has a good deal of seating and the beds and the rest of the home were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There are grocery stores, shopping, and fitness centers nearby, and we explored Fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Matlacha, and Pine Island during our stay, which was super fun. We also explored Punta Gorda, Venice, and Sarasota to the north. Tom's home is in a great location. Tom is quick to respond and his neighbors are very kind and close by to help if he is out of town. His pool is beautiful. Northerners please note: we were here in January and most Florida homes, including Tom's, use solar heat to heat the pool. It could not keep up with the cold nightly temps this year which were going down into the 40's and 50's at times, so the pool was too cold to use. Also, please note that at this property, TV channels are limited and there is a extra electricity daily charge. We still thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Tom was an excellent host, and we would love to come back to stay at this beautiful home in the future.
