The house was in a great location and had a lot of enjoyable amenities such as the dock, kayaks, ping pong table and fishing poles. The bait shop just up the street was very helpful providing fishing tips and the proper bait for success. We caught catfish and snapper right off the dock! We also kayaked with dolphins, which was very cool and the view down the canal was amazing, especially during sunset! The pool was nice and warm and the hot tub provided relaxation. There is enough room for everyone (we had 4 adults and 2 kids) and we basically spent the entire week hanging out on the lanai watching basketball and having fun! Several great restaurants nearby, especially Mexico Lindo and BARunch!! We also rented bikes that were delivered and picked up, so we could explore the neighborhood and ride down to the Slipaway Food Truck Park with live music. Fort Myers is so close, we spent a day at the Margaritaville Beach Resort and another evening at the Mussels minor league (Twins class-A) game. Absolutely fantastic vacation!

This beautifully furnished house was a true sanctuary. The pool and hot tub were a favorite for all of us. The kids loved the ping pong table and digging in the sand by the canal, and we loved fishing off the dock. The neighborhood is great for walking, and this property is close to many of Cape Coral's best attractions (restaurants, parks, weekly farmer's market, etc.) We loved Sanctuary on Savona, and we were so sad to leave. We hope to be back again one day!

We do a girl's trip every year. This house was very roomy and good location. The pool was nice. Was close to everything needed. But also private so we can enjoy the time spent at the house.

We enjoyed our stay here, it was clean and comfortable and worked great for me and my wife and 4 other friends. Nice dock area with a sand beach, pool was clean, hot tub was hot, and outdoor living area was nice. Thanks!

Not happy with over-all cleanliness

When we arrived, we noticed immediately the toilets were dirty with a black ring and the showers had hair and dirt in them. The floors and rugs were so dirty. We noticed a lot of hair. One sink in master bedroom and sink in 3rd bedroom would NOT drain!! We bought Drano to solve problem, but it only helped the master. The other sink we had to have plumber come and fix it. Also, water on kitchen floor from refrigerator. Not sure why so we just kept wiping it up. Also, trouble with TV and had to call for help and found out 2 remotes needed new batteries. Over-all the house and pool area were beautiful. We were just so disappointed with the cleanliness of the house:((

PARADISE!!!

Thank You for such a great stay!! Everything about this house is just amazing. You immediately have the welcome feel when you arrive. No need to bring anything other than go shopping for food or do instacart. The amount of thoughfulness that was put into the home to make it easy to vacation is truely amazing. House was just as pictures and description showed. Plenty of activities to do right at your fingertips. My husband and kids spent countless hours on the dock fishing and crab fishing. Hubby loved the crab cage. Ping pong table was a hugh hit too along with the hot tub and watching movies while in hot tub at night. TV outside was a big plus as we spent more nights outside gathered around watching movies as a family than inside. New years eve was great the neighbors put on a great firework display as we all rang in to 2024. I will forever remember this house as it was a great family vacationing spot to make forever memories with your love ones. Cheers to 2024 we will be back again for sure :)

Disappointing Experience: Unfulfilled Expectations

Our family's vacation rental experience in Cape Coral, Florida fell far short of our expectations. The property, advertised as featuring a beautiful pool, hot tub, and waterfront location, presented several unexpected challenges upon our arrival. We were blindsided by a last-minute demand for essential paperwork, which caused unnecessary stress and frustration. Upon entering the home, we found discrepancies between the online photos and the actual property, including uncomfortable beds and smaller-than-advertised rooms with views. Further inspection revealed unsatisfactory cleanliness, with dirty bathrooms and a commercialized kitchen, marked with stickers on nearly every item. The pool's freezing temperature and non-operational hot tub, compounded by malfunctioning TVs and Wi-Fi, added to our disappointment. Despite reaching out to the homeowner and property maintenance company, the promised solutions were delayed and ultimately ineffective, leaving us without essential amenities for the majority of our week-long vacation. Overall, the multitude of issues significantly marred our vacation experience, and we hope that our feedback prompts necessary improvements for future guests. Also was promised a partial refund that was never received

This is a great property, there was plenty of room for our group and the outdoor space was great, tv, swings, hot tub, table tennis, pool, is where we spent most of our time. Excellent vacation would stay here again

Beautiful and Relaxing

We highly recommend this vacation house. A very quiet neighborhood yet close to restaurants, shops, and the beach. The house was very clean. The outdoor area is so nice and relaxing. We really enjoyed our vacation there.

The Sanctuary is wonderful

We had some confusion when booking through VRBO and had to pay two booking fees (Roelens and VRBO) which was disappointing. The property is just as the pictures showed and the house is amazing! We were able to take the kayaks on the canal. What a nice neighborhood. The lot next to the house is vacant and there is a marine company using it. It was loud on a few mornings as they loaded up their barge to build someone's dock... but didn't impact our stay. One of the bbq's needed to be lit manually but worked great. The other grill we didn't use after opening it and it needed to be cleaned. (Smelled terrible) This was the only issue we raised to the property manager and it took over 24 hours to call back and another day for the cleaner to come to the house. This is my only complaint, a more attentive property manager is needed. It was a pleasure speaking with the folks at Roelens property and the house is absolutely amazing. The neighborhood is great and located so close to great bars and restaurants. The bridge to Fort Myers is only minutes away too if you want to venture out. I would recommend this wonderful home for a Peaceful vacation at the Sanctuary on Savona

We had a wonderful time! The weather was beautiful! The home was great and everything in it was easily accessible! It was very relaxing! We all LOVED the pool/lanai area! Which is where we spent most of our time! I would do it again!

Amazing Property

What a house! Great View, Great Location and awesome property. The pool and hot tub were great as well as the outdoor area. House looked like it was decorated by an interior designer. Kayaks were tons of fun. I only wish I rented a boat, but I did not think of it. Will stay again. I already inquired about the vacant lot next door. Thanks for a great vacation !

Beautiful home, perfect for our vacation
