The place was great except for a few broken things. The dishwasher had issues draining, the sliding glass doors either didn't work or made an awful noise and a few other minor issues like burnt out lights. The pool and outdoor seating were very nice.

The house could have been cleaner, while we appreciated being let in early the home was not cleaned well by the cleaning service. There was still soap rings and hair on the sink where they did not move the soap to wipe under it. The host was very responsive and nice. There was not really a comfortable piece of furniture to sit on. We did see a manatee in the canal though that was super cool!

Overall our group had an amazing stay! The pool area was amazing and the neighborhood was so nice. We had more than enough room for our group and the host was really friendly. One of the rooms lacked its own door which we didn’t completely expect but we made it work.

We arrived at the house and were immediately greeted by… marijuana. On the counter. And tucked sweetly under a bed pillow. Nothing says “welcome getaway” like a strong eau de pot the moment you walk in. Truly sets the vibe, just not the one we were hoping for.To be fair, the host did refund our cleaning fee (shoutout for that), because the cleaners clearly believed in a “lived-in aesthetic.” The place felt a little grungy, like it had stories to tell… and maybe some we didn’t want to hear.We decided to embrace wholesome family fun and break out some board games, only to discover a thrilling half deck of cards in the cupboard. Nothing spices up game night like inventing new rules because you’re missing half the deck.The pool looked inviting… until we dipped our toes in and discovered it was apparently fed directly by melted glaciers. And just when we thought the temperature was the biggest surprise, we noticed generous hunks of long black hair floating around like the pool was auditioning to be a shampoo commercial. Nothing says “relaxing swim” like playing “what just touched my leg?” Next time, we’re splurging on heated and freshly skimmed, water. Lesson learned. No kayaksAround 2 a.m., the smoke alarm decided we all needed a surprise adrenaline rush. Nothing bonds a group like a middle-of-the-night panic. Thankfully, the host came through with a new battery the next dayIf you enjoy king beds that squeak this place is for you. The host was attentive and very responsive.

Beautiful home, but there were a few maintenance items that needed attention. Talked to our host and he said they would take care of them. We unfortunately had cold weather while we were diwn there so were not able to enjoy the beautiful pool. The screened in area was wonderful to enjoy our morning coffee and afternoon wine. There could have been a few more basics. A very nice spice rack but most.if the common spices like cinnamon, oregano and the like were empty. We had to go out and buy salt and pepper even.

Everyone enjoyed themselves. Did a bit of fishing, pool was nice, the house was great. Only one television though. I didn't mind because we were on vacation, but we did bring one. Would definitely stay there again.

Cape Coral Vacay

Our family of 11, really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, had great sleeping arrangements, comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. There were lots of pool toys and beach toys as well. There were also a good supply of pool towels and beach chairs for use. The host was very quick to respond to any contact and took care of any issues. We would definitely stay again if in the area!

Absolutely horrible!!!

Don’t be fooled by the pictures posted!!! When we arrived it was nothing to the pictures posted! Super dirty, roaches everywhere in the kitchen, rooms, bathrooms and outside. Stained sheets and broken cabinets, etc. The wall next to the barbecue was burned and the barbecue itself was dirty and smelled like grease! I contacted the host during my stay letting them know all the problems we were having and that we were even looking to leave early because we had 2 smaller kids there and having roaches is unacceptable. Unfortunately we couldn’t leave as every other hotel last minute was super expensive but I let the host know that I would like a refund back or at least partial refund and they told me no because the house was listed half price already!!! Which is ridiculous because that house is way to dirty to be listed for more. They said it was not possible for a refund and ignored my message and proceeded to ask for a review. On top of everything they asked asked to put the towels to wash ourselves and clean the house to help the house keepers. No wonder they have stained and dirty sheets if they ask guest to wash them!! They clearly don’t double check and make sure things are clean. We found another kids pajamas behind their blue couch and that shows that they don’t clean well!! Genuinely very upset with my stay and will never return to this house and very disappointed with the host….please think twice before staying here.

Large spacious home

We had plenty of room for all of us- nine beds in five bedrooms with three bathrooms. The house is in a nice location- close to everything, on a canal, and lots of friendly neighbors walking around. The kitchen, living room, and pool were large enough for a group of ten. I liked that there were enough towels- I’ve stayed at a few places that barely provide any. The only downside was that there is no hot tub and the pool is not heated.
