Davids Apartment hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Modern eingerichtet, gepflegt und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Alltag braucht. Schöner Garten, super Blick auf die beleuchtete Mauer von Carcassonne. Nur wenige Minuten Fußweg zur Festung von Carcassonne. Nah gelegen an der Aude und dem Midi Kanal mit sehr guten Spaziermöglichkeiten für unsere Hunde.Einen Parkplatz haben wir auch leicht gefunden. Lag vielleicht daran, das es Oktober war.Der Supermarkt Le Clerk war auch leicht zu finden und nicht weit weg. Absolut empfehlenswert das Apartment.

Great place in fantastic location- incredible views!

Beautiful property with terrace and gardens overlooking the city walls. Within reasonable walking distance of the station and very close to the medieval city gates. Very comfortable and atmospheric. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Touring South of France.

Well rated — but even better than advertised. Good location with a million dollar view of the castle. Unit very well equipped, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Host was extremely responsive, the best on our trip yet. Thanks!

A Beautiful Stay with an Unforgettable View

We loved our stay here! The view was absolutely incredible, and the garden was huge—plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The house was very clean and well cared for, and we really appreciated the thoughtful cooking essentials like balsamic vinegar and herbs. One of the most fun moments was spotting our garden from the top of the Carcassonne walls! The kids were thrilled with the loft bedroom—it felt like it was decorated just for them. A beautiful and memorable place to stay. Highly recommended!

The house is very cute, nicely decorated and the garden so lovely. True to the pictures, you must go to the garden at night. Location is perfect. The owner, David was very nice and helpful. We had a wonderful time in Carcassonne! Thank you.

Comfort, convenience, and beauty in one

Long time friends joined my wife and I for 4 nights at this comfy apartment. We enjoyed the views of the old town from the back terrace and garden, especially at night. It is an uphill climb to visit the old town but the access point is very convenient. The apartment itself is very comfortable, while compact, and easily accommodated four of us. Street parking was limited but we found places close to the unit every day. Communication with our host David was excellent. Our only suggestion for the unit is to have better, more direct lighting in the bedrooms And living areas. Wonderful property for a short stay.

The perfect stay in Carcassone

Well located just outside of the old Cite, with a garden terrace where we enjoyed the night views of the lighted walls, it was really just perfection. The host met us upon checkin and was friendly and helpful in guiding our quick 2 night stay. I wish I had stayed even longer in this great cottage!

Girl’s trip

This was the perfect place for us to stay. The decor and furniture was cozy and fun. Great layout and nice kitchen area. We loved the outdoor patio and garden areas. The location is close to everything. There is construction on the road it’s on so it was a little tricky to get to initially. A gem of a place to stay in a beautiful area.

Amazing view from a cozy cottage

After years of renting vacation homes, this may have been the very best one. The views from the garden were just lovely, with several seating areas for reading or a glass of wine at sunset. The house is only a 10minute walk to the old town, and to neighborhood restaurants, the pharmacy, tabac, and a small grocer. The cottage was the perfect space for a small family. Beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was strong. It was great to have two bathrooms! The kitchen was well equipped for most vacation cooking needs. Parking was free on the street and quite easy to find. The management company was responsive, helpful, and gracious but left us to enjoy our vacation. Overall, a really wonderful stay!

Awesome Location

This gite was a great location with beautiful gardens to relax in & stunning nighttime views of the medieval walls of Carcassonne. The ramparts were a mere 5 minute walk away. The accommodation’s modern decor was cheerful & kitchen supplies were adequate for our short stay. However, instructions for the appliances should be added to the welcome manual as we were unable to use the stove or coffeemaker. Small details aside, it was the perfect place for our time in Carcassonne!

Excellent property to explore Carcassonne. All walkable and easy access. The garden was wonderful to spend relaxing time in, with lovely views of the walls. David (the owner) was extremely flexible in allowing us to leave bags outside the check out time before our flights, which was hugely appreciated.

Great place to stay in Carcassone

Prompt replies from owner, good welcome in person and explanation of property and environment. Well equipped with good water pressure and hot water. Views and delightful garden on several levels make this a great place to stay.

The place was very clean and great location, however the internet was almost non existent

the description of the place said parking was available but not specified it was a paid parking for 13 euros the night. We got croissants every morning which it was nice
