Beth is a wonderful Host. Excellent communication, very accommodating, friendly, kind and caring. The Caretaker Cottage was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed watching the beautiful sunsets, lightning bug shows, and the beef cattle grazing next to the cottage. The birds chirping are such a delight. It's comforting that the cottage is pet friendly

RELAXING

Nice property. Large kitchen with a deck outside. There is a Weber charcoal grill but I brought my own. Grilled a couple of times. Well stocked - met all my needs. Great character... 2nd time I have stayed here. Will be back.

Historical, well-stocked cottage

Cottage had everything you would need. Kitchen was huge with plenty of plates, pans, etc. Very clean. Had a nice fire pit with plenty of wood which I fired up during World Series games. I even brought wood just in case- didn't really need it. Pellet stove for heat worked great though I only used it two nights. Wifi worked smoothly. Nice deck off the kitchen I used for grilling. I brought my own grill but a Weber charcoal grill was provided. Only slight issue was the road was closer than I originally thought but not a problem for me. Loved the cows and horses in the next pasture. Will stay again as I have family in Hartsville.
