Armathwaite lies in the northern reaches of the Eden Valley, the last stop on the Settle to Carlisle Railway before the line reaches its northern terminus. Like many stations along the line, its buildings are maintained in their traditional style and colours.

Armathwaite Manor dates back to 1829 a Grade II listed building, and provides welcoming and luxury holiday accommodation, perfect for a relaxing break away. Edenside has the wow factor! A renovated part of the old Manor is elegant and stylish, and from the moment you walk through the door you won’t be disappointed. It is perfect for all the family, with the rooms flowing through from the entrance with kitchen on the left and a large living room up on the left. The dining room is on the right.
