We stayed here for a week in late May. Overall it was a restful and relaxing stay. There are some pros and cons:
Pros:
- Quiet location on top floor in rear of property.
- Chef's kitchen with high-end appliances, cookware, utensils and spices.
- Recently renovated bathroom with new shower, sink, counter and cabinetry
- Comfy king size bed.
- Ample size closet.
Cons:
- The open concept living room and dining room is dark, some of the lighting is not working
- The low flow toilet kept backing up and required 3 flushes
- The bedroom has no electrical outlets
- The bathroom sink and counter has no electrical outlets
- The shower door leaks extensively and requires cleanup of pooled water after every shower.
- There is no coffee table or ottoman for the couch
This is a nice unit that with a little more work can become a great lodging. It is walking distance to a Gelson's grocery store, Starbucks and several take out restaurants. Although there is no access to the La Costa Resort's fitness center it is close to numerous gyms and exercise spots (Cyclebar, Yoga6, etc.). Property Manager Cindy is very responsive and knowledgeable, and very pleasant to deal with.
