Good times!

Made a last minute decision to do a quick getaway. This house was perfect for our family - yard was beautiful; house was so comfortable from heated floors to spacious gathering areas; and great location (10 minute walk to town). We’ll definitely stay here again!

Carmel Get Away

There were 6 of us that stayed at the property. Plenty of room with 2 indoor sitting areas kitchen . There are two beautiful outdoor seating areas. We loved that it was an easy 1/2 mile walk to downtown Carmel . This house is the perfect location .

Amazing Magical Time

We stayed at Lili pad for the celebration of a good friend's birthday. We had a chef come in and make us dinner for eight. We enjoyed wine and cheese in the courtyard. It was the perfect setting for a gathering of good friends with good conversation and good rest. I highly recommend this residence. Exceeded all expectations! Hope to do it again!

Reviewer Comments: Superb house in a perfect location to toggle between the exquisite Carmel town centre and Pebble Beach and the other events making up Monterey Car Week. Great kitchen and entertaining space with great gas fire place. 4 good double rooms en suite plus a large snug that we used as a 5th bedroom for kids. Some minor irritations that could be easily sorted - lack of wine glasses, lack of beach towels, lack of dishwasher tablets. Though Sanctury were good during the booking process, their responses to our requests when we were in the house were not great

Fun at the Lilli Pad

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently rented the Lilli Pad to celebrate our 40th anniversary with our adult kids. We were so impressed with the beauty of the gardens, and the structure of the house, which had windows that let the outside in - always looking at beauty! The large dining and kitchen area was a dream, and each bedroom/bathroom was well appointed. Every convenience was available, and we felt so spoiled there. Being able to bring along our dogs made it really nice as well. The pictures really don't do this place justice!. We had a fabulous time with 6 adults and 2 dogs, and never felt cramped. We walked to downtown many times, just be prepared for a little uphill on the way back. The staff at Sanctuary Vacation Rentals made everything really easy and they were very accommodating. I liked being able to call prior to our trip to discuss any questions, and when we asked for something nice to have (extra wine glasses), they had them sent over very quickly. It was a great experience, and we will be back! You won't be disappointed with this rental!

Family Stay at Lilli Pad

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfortable design of this home. It was a great location, quiet and town was only a 10-15 minute walk. Only issue we had was that ALL mini-split heating and air conditioning units have to be set to the same mode (heat, or a/c) in order for any of them to function. We did this, but could not get the heat to work while we were there. So, if you stay here, make sure you inquire about, and understand the heat and a/c and how they work. I'm sure the host would have addressed this immediately had we asked, but it was not very cold, or hot when we were there so we just dealt with no heat. The shower heads also are extremely "green" and very little water comes out and that is a bit frustrating, but this is common at many places, especially in CA. However, we would definitely rent this home again, it was a great experience and very comfortable.
