Fantastic house for a family week

Once a year we rent a house for a week for us, our daughters, and their families to stay. We look for lots of space, a kitchen we can all cook in, and a location with access to diverse activities for ages 17 to 76. This house defines perfection. We hiked, wandered the art galleries, spent time on the beach, went on scenic drives, did some wine tasting, cooked meals together, watched movies, and laughed a lot. The Steinway piano was a bonus as two of us play. Central Carmel is a 15-20 minute walk and the Mission closer.The house is pristine, the furnishings lovely, the beds comfortable, the gardens and patio beautiful. There were nice extras, such as a s'mores kit, bottle of wine, and popcorn.

Every thing was great

This is a house that was built for the owners not for short term rentals. Furnitures and decorations reflect the personality and the culture of the owners. I really liked it.

Nice place, good staff

Spacious rooms and big beds. Great for groups with multiple adults. Nice backyard space and staff was responsive and brought a new coffee maker when the current one was broken.

Gorgeous, peaceful getaway!!

The pictures do not do this property justice. Peaceful Villa is absolutely stunning!! Beautiful home and grounds. Roomy, well-appointed, comfortable and great location to town. Make sure you rent E-bikes and ride the 17-mile loop. Take a walking tour with Monica - what a delight! Shop Ocean Avenue and peruse downtown. Eat at Dametra and From Scratch. We will be back to Peaceful Villa - Carmel is a treasure!

Graduation celebration

The house was great. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Towels in bathroom were wonderful. Kitchen had everything needed to cook. When we had questions - we got received a response. Great place would definitely stay again. Only down side - Den could not sit 8 people when house sleeps 8 people. But if you are out and about that will not matter.

Beautiful Tuscan Property with special touches everywhere! Wine, boxed chocolates, ground coffee as a well as pods, Hershey Chocolate Bars, Graham Crackers, Marshmallows for S’mores! We had a private chef for the birthday dinner for 12. Marco set the table with silver chargers, white plates and moss green napkins…

R&R Ladies Weekend

The Carmel Peaceful Villa is EXACTLY what I needed to celebrate my 50th with my besties! MaryJane was very responsive through VRBO messaging when I had questions and during the booking and planning process. Arrival day, picking up the key in Monterey was easy and Marco was super friendly and informative, shared his cell number and encouraged me to reach out if needed. Home is beautiful and did not disappoint! Very clean and had all the day to day necessities at our fingertips. Loved the scented reed diffusers and hand soaps throughout the house. Eight women had plenty of room for R&R, playing games, eating/socializing, etc. Large kitchen with high end appliances. Plenty of pantry and fridge space. Had two women per room and didn't hear of any complaints. My bed was too firm for my liking, but that didn't keep me from falling asleep! With 3.5 baths, we did have to share when trying to all get ready at once, but totally manageable. We did have a private chef come in one night. Very quiet neighborhood and home was easy to find. We didn't get to utilize the fire pit out back due to rain. The fenced in backyard was pretty and peaceful, and would be great for a dog (we didn't bring any with us). I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again! To the owners, THANK YOU for sharing your home and making this birthday lady and her gang very happy!

Lovely house for a peaceful and enjoyable stay

It's a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood and close to the downtown and beach. The house actually is much better in person than it looks in the picture. It is spacious and well furnished. We really enjoyed our stay.
