Me encanta Carmel. Hemos vivido en Carmel por muchos años y puedo decirles, seguramente que la casa y la ciudad de Carmel y Monterey son perfecto para los niños, los abuelos, un perro - toda la familia. Hay trés cuartos de dormir y dos baños bastante elegantes. La playa está circa y si quieres, puedes andar.

We had a great family weekend in Carmel at Holly and Richard’s house. Especially enjoyed sitting on the courtyard deck under the oak tree enjoying the beautiful fall weather. The house gets great natural light and has a nice layout for family to spend time together in the common spaces. Communication with our hosts was top-notch, especially appreciated the helpful tips and recommendations—a birthday cake for my dad from their recommended local bakery was a big hit!

Perfect beach house for my pup and me

My dog and stayed here for 4 nights. Its a big house for just us two. But completely worth it. Lots of areas to walk and relax. The house was close to everthing. Beach was only 5 mins away!! The host was AMAZING about giving recommendations and really easy to get in touch with. We had a small issue, which wasnt even an issue, and she had someone out to look at it in less than 15 mins. The house is exactly as pictured. Its very clean, well stocked, perfectly lit and modern. I would return there every chance I get! It was home away from home.

Gracious Home; Welcoming Hosts

The house is spacious and comfortably furnished. A great place for friends and family to relax and gather while enjoying Carmel and Pebble Beach. Easy access by car to Big Sur and Central Coast; also Carmel Valley. Holly provided great information ahead of our arrival on places to go and sights to see; did everything possible to make us quickly at home. The fenced yard was great for our dog, plus the neighborhood roads are peaceful in the woods and great for dog walks on leash. We hope we are fortunate enough to return soon.

Lovely Carmel Woods retreat

Property is well situated on the winding, hilly and wooded area of north Carmel. Close to everything. House and yard in need of some updating - bathrooms are nicely remodeled, and kitchen is modern and well equipped. House is nicely laid out and private. Good, safe yard for dogs.

Quiet and serene stay

The house is perfect for a family of 5. We enjoyed the bed and my wife loved the nice soaker tub. After a long day of activities with the family this was a great property to relax, enjoy, and unwind on. We ended every night with a glass of wine outside on the beautiful deck. The kids enjoyed their rooms and the living room space.

Cute House in Town

The house was cute, comfortable, and well appointed. It had lots of spices and condiments for our use. We loved opening the windows to enjoy the cool breezes. The only thing I would suggest changing is the entry wooden gate with the latch. It’s very worn down and we feared getting splinters trying to open and close it daily. Other than that, it was a great stay. Thank you Holly & Richard.

Lovely home base for Carmel exploration

Really enjoyed using this lovely house as a home base for 3 days of exploring Carmel and environs. The house is warm and obviously lived in and loved. Lots of character, but also very comfortable and well appointed. Plenty of room for up to six people and a well stocked kitchen including coffee and wine! Beautiful neighborhood and outdoor space with lots of trees and the distant roar of waves on the beach. Close to all the action in Carmel and Monterey. Highly recommend this house and will plan to stay here again on our next visit.

Quiet Among the Stars at this Carmel Charmer

The minute my wife and I stepped into your home we both felt at ease with the subtle decor, the views from the vast number of windows and French door, along with the abundant greenery outdoors waiting to be absorbed. Loved this sweet house

We loved our visit and this very special house. House has tons of charm and special details. Comfortable beds and shared living areas, spacious, all the necessary amenities. Lots of gorgeous light. Beautiful deck and plants. Short drive to downtown, beach, etc. just loved it all. Host was so kind and provided many helpful details. We’ll be coming back for sure!
