  • Venga a disfrutar de este nuevo apartamento de 2 dormitorios y 2 baños ubicado a 1 cuadra de Ocean Ave y 7 cuadras de la playa, con capacidad para 6 personas. El apartamento está en el segundo piso de nuestro edificio que linda con un patio con un bonito balcón a las afueras de la entrada de la cocina. El paseo peatonal a través del patio de la planta baja entre Lincoln y Dolores que no se puede ver desde el apartamento como el balcón y la barandilla oscurecen la visibilidad hacia y desde el nivel del suelo. Hay un conocido restaurante llamado Cultura que se encuentra frente al patio de la planta baja, que puede estar ocupado los fines de semana. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos retro de alta gama Big Chill que incluyen lavaplatos, estufa de gas y refrigerador. Gabinetes completamente surtidos con ollas / sartenes, platos, tazones, utensilios, etc. para todas sus necesidades de cocina, pisos de piedra natural y microondas. Camina por la cocina hasta la sala de estar que también funciona como un pequeño comedor, donde encontrarás un Smart TV y un hermoso sofá que también funciona como una cama extraíble. El dormitorio principal tiene ventanas orientadas al este con mucha iluminación, un hermoso baño grande con calefacción por suelo radiante, una ducha a ras de suelo y una lavadora / secadora apilables. El segundo dormitorio es espacioso, con un segundo SmartTV, un sofá y un baño pequeño que cuenta con un tocador hecho a mano, un hermoso marco de ducha con azulejos y pisos de piedra natural. Todo el apartamento tiene hermosos techos abovedados, ventiladores en cada habitación y unidades de calefacción de aire acondicionado con sistema dividido en las habitaciones y la sala de estar. El apartamento no viene con estacionamiento. Hay estacionamiento en la calle que está disponible por hasta 2 horas a la vez de 9 am a 5 pm, todos los días. Hay varios estacionamientos gratuitos para huéspedes que se encuentran aproximadamente a 5 cuadras del apartamento.

Gretchen and Greg are exceptional hosts-attentive, responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. The apartment was just as described. It was comfortable, clean, cozy, well stocked, and the central location made it very easy to walk to everything including the beach. We’re so glad we found your wonderful place and would happily stay again!

Wedding weekend

We were in Carmel for my daughters wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice in staying here. It is in a FANTASTIC location, comfortable and well appointed with everything you need for a wonderful stay.

Charming Location

Greg and Gretchen were so kind and the place was lovely. The location can’t be beat for exploring Carmel! Wonderful experience and would definitely stay again.

Perfect Spot for Carmel

Excellent and easy

Two adult couples and 2 kids (10/12) and we had plenty of room. Great location. Only a few blocks to the beach. Parking was almost always easy to find.

VRBO gave incorrect location information (picture & geodrop were for a building 1-1/2 blocks away!). Fortunately, our host responded to our request for help and all went well from then on. She was very helpful in showing us around, recommending places to eat and even gave excellent insider knowledge about how and where to park our car to avoid getting a ticket. Thanks!

Perfect apartment! Great location, love it

We loved staying here, the beds were comfortable, kitchen equipped with everything we could need. Showers had great water pressure. Location is ideal, easy walk to everywhere. If this apartment went for sale I would be interested, liked it that much:)

Great apartment with great location.

This worked perfect for our group of 4 adults. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. Decor was cute and modern. The location was great - walking distance to so many shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms and a short walk to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.

A great spot in a quiet courtyard but steps from all the action. The apartment was even more spacious than we expected and easily accommodated the five of us (3 adults one 14 year old.) The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/bowls/cooking utensils and even had extras like spices/salt/pepper. Having a balcony off the side gave us extra seating for dinner/relaxing. The beach was about 6 minutes away by foot (and you could see glimpses of the water from the balcony.) The hosts were lovely - available without hovering. If you’re looking for the perfect little getaway in Carmel - this is it!

Location Location Location

Cute quiet place. Location cannot be beat as it is a short walk to everything in town. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Couple of hiccups that were addressed quickly with host. Even though there was construction going on in a couple of units around we did not even know. Enjoyed our stay.

Perfect spot in Carmel

This place has become our favorite place to stay in Carmel. It’s spacious, well-appointed, and in a perfect location. Full size washer and dryer meant we could pack light. Kitchen allowed us to have a few meals in the with kids, and to stock up on beach and hiking food. The best part was being in the middle of downtown. The hosts were great. We will definitely book this property again!

This darling apartment was truly one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed. The king beds were so comfortable for my large boys, the master bathroom and shower were amazing, and the kitchen had every gadget you would ever need! It was literally in the middle of Carmel-by-the-sea and we walked everywhere. We had parking, which was a blessing, and we had the great fortune to meet the owner, who was so welcoming, helpful, and gave amazing suggestions for our stay. I loved the smell of all the soaps, which may be unusual to say, but shows the care of all the little details. The VRBO was right across from a Mexican restaurant, Cultura, and they offered to hand-deliver our nachos when we were tired from a day of hiking. I cannot say enough great things about this little town, the people, and our experience.

Magical Place To Stay

This was my first time staying at a Vrbo and our experience was incredible! Gretchen and Greg our Hosts were so helpful and informative. They made us feel so welcome and would even check in with us to make sure everything was going well. Their house was so clean, well stocked with everything you will need. The location is perfect and you can walk everywhere! Such a idyllic retreat in Carmel By The Sea! I can't wait too go back! Thank You Gretchen and Greg for making our vacation a memorable one!

Very Well-Appointed Apartment in Central Carmel

Although the property was being renovated, it was a very pleasant stay. Great, new retro appliances and very strong hot shower. One small disappointment: there's not a lot of natural light in this apartment, but it wasn't a problem for us because we were mostly outside in the spectacular Carmel natural setting.

Much needed girls getaway!

From the moment we drove down Ocean Avenue the experience began! Our apartment was just as charming as described on the VRBO site with every amenity we needed for the five day stay. The beds are so comfy, the bathroom floor so warm and everything was shiny clean. Our host, Greg, was just a text away and it felt like home. A couple of walks to and from the beach each day took care of the extra calories we picked up at the Carmel Bakery!

ONE OF THE BEST!

Everything that was advertised about this unit was accurate, and still they did not share all the fabulous things about this unit. The instructions were clear and concise; the unit was as pictured, the amenities were the best stocked that we have ever seen in a VRBO unit and with extras if what was provided was not enough. The bedding and bed were incredible....if I could have staying in bed the entire day, I would have - but Carmel was calling! The location within Carmel was perfect. Walking distance to all and everything. What a all-around fabulous experience.....thank you to the Hosts for making this one of our most enjoyable holidays!

A perfect walkable location

Stayed for several days in Carmel, and were very pleased with the choice of this property. In particular, the location was ideal. It is in the center of the cute downtown area, so walkability was fabulous for meals, shopping and just enjoying Carmel. It is not a big place, but it is very charming, and opening the top portion of the 'Dutch door' in the morning for the coastal breeze was a delight. In full disclosure, there are a few quirks to note. There is no parking with the property, so a bit of hunting is required to find a spot for the car at night. Also, at the time of writing it was on the tail end of some construction, so there were a few rough edges. But overall neither of these detracted from the experience, and we would stay there again.

Great place in carmel

Really nice place right in the middle of downtown Carmel shopping. I was worried that it would be noisy with all the downtown stuff around us but once you shut the door you hear nothing. We really enjoyed our time there.

Incredible Value, Amazing Stay!

We had such an incredible time in Carmel & this apartment was the perfect location! It had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable stay for my family, including my one year old twin boys. The kitchen was completely stocked with absolutely everything. The patio was perfect for enjoying meals & the bathrooms were so nice - we loved the heated tiles! it is located directly in the middle of town so you are just a step away from cute boutiques & restaurants. It's just a short walk from the beach, which is absolutely gorgeous! And the Thursday morning Farmers' Market was so fun! We had an absolute blast & cannot wait to visit again!

Great Host, location and luxury kitchen/baths

Property is a quick walk to Ocean Ave and Beach. Host replies quickly with any questions. Luxury kitchen & baths with everything needed to prepare a meal. Would stay here again!
