Beautiful spot in a quiet place, Carmel Valley

Great property and very communicative management. The house had everything you need. Great entertainment space for family and friends and well equipped kitchen. Garden and outdoor dining space are perfect for outdoor entertaining when weather permits. WiFi is strong in a potential weak cell signal area. Overall a top-notch spot for a quiet escape from the city.

Girls Trip

We had an amazing time during our stay! The house was perfect! There was plenty of room for the 6 adults and we absolutely loved the garden! Will definitely recommend the house to friends and family visiting Carmel!

Wonderful stay!

The stay was truly wonderful. The house was beautiful and exactly as shown. The management team was very helpful and easy to work with. The house is location so close to town and tons of walking / hiking nearby - we loved our stay.

Girls Running Weekend

Four girlfriends from Colorado, Arizona and California came together to enjoy some trail running, wine and create some great memories. The house and property were perfect for us and we enjoyed everything about our stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was exquisite and we wished we could have spent more nights enjoying the beautiful patio. We would highly recommend this property and home!

Christmas at Horizon

This was a WONDERFUL property for our family to spend Christmas! From the moment we entered we knew this would be a very special place. A lighted tree was provided along with several very homey touches, even including a s'mores station for use with the outdoor fire pit! Everything was super clean and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. The windows all look out onto beautiful grounds and views that made us feel like we were somewhere very remote, even though we were only a short drive away from town. I never expect a property will live up to the photos but in this case the actuality might even be better! And communication with the property manager was super quick and easy, (thanks Marco!) I hope to stay here again with my family in the future, we all had such a wonderful holiday at Horizons! THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting us stay in your fantastic home! //Catherine

Great house

Lovely house, very clean and incredibly well equipped. The only complaint was the total lack of curtains/window coverings in the otherwise very comfortable master bedroom, which made it rather uncosy especially on a cold dark night. Location, check in process, communication with managers was all great.

Peaceful getaway with a lovely view.

We can't thank the owners/management company more for sharing this lovely gem of a home. It was spacious, sparkling clean and had everything one would need for a family of six. Not only was it well appointed, they went above and truly made us feel as if it were our home, not just a rental. They made little gestures like leaving lots of coffee and biscotti, all of the makings for s'mores, a complimentary bottle of wine, etc.. We would definitely stay again!!! There is only one thing we would mention...there are a set of stairs from the parking to the front door. We had our elderly parents with us and we didn't see stairs in the photos. This would not change our minds about staying again, but something that somebody with mobility challenges might want to be aware of. We HIGHLY recommend this home to anybody who truly wants to enjoy all that Carmel has to offer.

Beautiful Property!

I rented home because we were in town for my son’s wedding. The home is very beautiful inside and out. Home has a large kitchen and has all amenities needed. The living room area is very large and comfortable. Outdoor space is very peaceful and relaxing. Enjoyed our stay! Thank You!

We had an amazing time staying here in Carmel Valley. Property manager was very helpful with the check-in process and the house is, in fact, very spacious! Our dog loved the property too; he might have enjoyed it more than us. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything disclosed is right on point i.e., location, privacy , quality of facilities and accommodating hosts. Hopefully, host will correct listing to include no garage and treacherous steep decline without handrail. Those of able body, it's a find.

Pebble Beach getaway

Property exceeded expectations in every way. Location was convenient to restaurants and activities. We enjoyed the beautiful patio area and fire pit every evening. Grill was new and very clean. Home was well furnished and comfortable. One of the best VRBO’s we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few. 5 stars!

Loved our time in Carmel Valley

The home was everything that we were expecting and more. Very comfortable and inviting. Clean on arrival. The gardens are amazing. Only suggestion I have is to put up some sort of shades or curtains in the master bedroom. Thank you for the use of your wonderful home and we stay in the area again, we would love to stay there again.

Beautiful gardens, perfect kitchen for a family that cooks, bedrooms good size and nice functional bathrooms. High grade appliances and all utensils and dishes were in like new condition. As a family we have stayed in many nice homes, this is on our top favorites list!

A Quiet Haven

We booked 3 nights here. We appreciated having 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms so no one had to share. The “chef’s kitchen” included everything we needed to fix and serve meals. We were often outside relaxing on the patio surrounded by beautiful gardens. Our only difficulty was negotiating the stairs from the parking area to the front door with our luggage and groceries.

Awesome house and great view!

Perfect property for exploring Carmel Valley Village, Carmel-by-the-Sea, Big Sur, and Santa Lucia Highlands vineyards. The house makes great use of the space and is very open. Tremendous back patio setup that is kid friendly - the whole house is kid friendly for that matter. Big kitchen, seating for 8 at kitchen table. Host provided a high chair and pack n’ play, which made it easy for our 2 year old. Would absolutely stay there again if visiting the area. Couldn’t recommend more. Fun outdoor fire pit for fire-side chats and roasting smores.

Beautiful surroundings

This home is an open concept with a bathroom for each room and a gorgeous backyard space. The home is very well stocked with everything you need. We loved hanging out each evening playing board games after our daytime adventures in Carmel and Monterey. I would easy stay here again.

The property was awesome but not in a convenient location…it is a bit far from things.

Thank goodness for the property management company who was on-top of communicating. The “host/Marco” never answered my email or phone message. Huge waste of exorbitant fee! However, the property was lovely, clean and well stocked! The neighborhood is quiet and somewhat secluded. For us it was a bit too far away from the center of town. The home itself is awesome! The backyard, with fire pit, was great for evenings.

Special house in a special place

Lovely accommodations, well appointed with private space for all. Plenty of room to stretch out with beautiful gardens within steps of the house allowing everyone to stay connected. The kitchen is well stocked, and put to good use with a trip to Jerome's market (5min drive). The house is cozy and comfortable, although the master needs a new (or better quality) mattress. I found it less support, and uncomfortable after a couple of nights (compared to luxury hotels I have stayed). Short term challenge, renovations directly next door occasionally interrupt the usual tranquility and start as early as 7:30am on weekdays.
