Incredible view!! The deck showcased the panoramic view of the Lake! We loved the house, it was perfect for our stay. The house was clean and well maintained. We will be booking this house again.

Christmas Chalet

Stayed here with my family for Christmas 2021. The entire process was smooth and this location has a breathtaking view. The location is an ideal location for skiing and snowboarding. We would stay here again and would only say that we missed having a hot tub.

Easy stay with beautiful lake views

Really enjoyed our family stay here. Gorgeous lake views, comfortable beds, place looks just as advertised. Very clean. Plenty of towels, sheets, extra blankets and shampoo. Stove had a few issues but someone came to take measurements for its replacement. We were able to cook with the available burners. Very attentive property management, allowed us an early check in when there was no party there before us and very responsive to any questions. We would stay again!!

Amazing View

We had a wonderful stay this week. The house is clean and cozy, easy to access, and great for relaxing. This is the perfect spot to enjoy a gorgeous view of Lake Tahoe!

Amazing stay

This was the perfect house for our family. My father has trouble walking, and the stairs down to the house were easy enough for him to navigate with a walker. Once inside he could access all the bedroom, bathroom, living areas and deck without stairs. The View was breathtaking! The house was immaculate and the kitchen was very well stocked. We didn't want to leave! Definitely will be back.

Beautiful cabin

This is a beautiful cabin in a lovely neighborhood. The space is very comfortable for 7. Our host was very responsive when answering any questions before arriving. The views of the lake were immaculate.

great view - the deck makes the house

The house was just as advertised, with a breathtaking 180 degree view of the lake and surrounding mountains (until the smoke from the fires ruined it..) The property manager Tamara is awesome (as are her two adorable dogs) - she helped me extend my trip and addressed a couple of minor issues immediately. It was very hot while were there and there is no AC, but the fans helped cool things down. The spacious deck became the living room - bbq every night! I would go back in a heartbeat.

Magnificent views of the lake!!

What a great house! The windows facing the sunrise were incredible for morning coffee and breakfast. We loved the proximity to many of Lake Tahoe’s best activities and restaurants. A bonus is the 15 min walk to a trailhead!

Great view. Need new mattresses

We really enjoyed our stay. Five stars for the view. Three stars for the rest. We would like to return just not sure it’s worth the older mattresses. If new mattresses are not in the budget maybe thicker mattress pads is a solution. Deck furniture would be a great addition.

Fantastic view, great accommodations, close to ski resorts

Stayed here 1 night with a group of people for a ski weekend. The house was easy to get to from both Squaw and Northstar. Very cozy house with lots of sleeping areas and great gas fireplace. The view of the lake was unbeatable.

Amazingly beautiful views, cozy cottage, good location in Lake Tahoe.

The views from this home were absolutely incredible. The views were the main reason we booked this particular property, as we had ladies from out of town with only a short time in Lake Tahoe, so wanted to enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the lake as much as we could. Which we absolutely did. An additional bonus was the sunrise, which was beautiful and in perfect view from the patio and visible from inside the house as well. It was the perfect start to the day. The home itself was neat and tidy. Everything was very clean. A useful notebook with important instructions and information regarding the property was left out in a good location and was very thorough (we consulted it numerous times). Overall, our impression of the property was that it was perfect for our needs. Our group felt that some updating would be beneficial for future rentals, especially of bedding/pillows/blankets and possibly some repair on the back deck (which was lovely but some areas of the wood were very rough and splintered).

Furniture & Deck Need Updating

Let me start by saying that we booked this house for a small family reunion and were sold on the view on the VRBO site. When we arrived a little early, Tamara was kind enough to let us in. She was happy, welcoming and interested in our trip to Tahoe. We liked her immediately. After she left, we all sat on the deck and immediately saw the there was a large gap at the bottom of the bench sitting area outside - large enough for small dogs like ours to fall through (see main picture on the site - maybe 12 -14 inches tall) . As a result, we had to tie up our dogs for the entire trip for fear that they would get too close to the edge and fall over! The only time that they were "free" was when they were inside the house. Since this is sold as a "pet friendly" property, this is a big issue. Problem # 2 was that the bench area (which you can see from the main picture) is old, in need of repair & sanding, and was in fact somewhat shaky - so much so that we only put our feet up against that one section as we felt it was dangerous to lean against. We also received splinters in our hands from placing them on top of the railing and on the seat area. Another big issue! Problem #3 - The furnishings themselves are old and not in great condition. The towels & linens were scratchy and felt uncomfortable to the skin. The blankets were old and pilled. They looked a good 6 - 8 years old at least. While I understand that this is a rental, for the price, they owner really needs to invest in new linens, towels and couches. On the upside...the view was fantastic, the barbeque worked great, and Tamara was fantastic and answered all of our needs (even bringing us fans when we needed more). The kitchen was the only part of the house which had been updated. The rest of the house, truly, looked like a 1970's bedroom (upstairs) and 1950's bedrooms (downstairs). In spite of Tamara's great work and the amazing view, we wouldn't return to this property.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The views were amazing and everything was nice and clean. The property owner was very sweet and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here if you're planning a day/weekend/week Tahoe trip!
