    Galardonada en 2015 con el prestigioso premio «Outstanding Mountain Home of the Year» de la revista Tahoe Quarterly, esta finca es una maravilla arquitectónica y de diseño. Esta vivienda, verdaderamente única en su género, de 5,800 pies cuadrados, se construyó en una ladera con un desnivel de 200 pies (de ahí su nombre).

    Ofrece unas vistas panorámicas de 270 grados sin obstáculos del lago Tahoe desde una altura de hasta 70 pies por encima de la orilla. Compuesta por una casa principal, una casa de invitados y un estudio departamento, esta vivienda plasma toda la belleza natural de Tahoe.     Conserje y embarcadero:

    El alojamiento de lujo incluye servicio de conserjería 24 horas al día, 7 días a la semana, para recomendarte y/o ayudarte a coordinar el transporte, así como actividades de verano —barcos y deportes acuáticos, senderismo, escalada, ciclismo y excursiones— y de invierno —esquí, motos de nieve, raquetas de nieve y trineos—. También te ofrecemos servicios de gimnasio, masajes, compra de comestibles, vino y bebidas alcohólicas, reservas para cenar y mucho más.

    La casa está situada en Agate Bay, una de las bahías más tranquilas del lago Tahoe. Ideal para navegar y practicar deportes acuáticos. Disfruta de un embarcadero privado, cerrado con llave y accesible en barco, que compartes con el vecino de al lado. Hay una boya disponible si la pides.

    Arquitectura y distribución:

    Para conseguir unas vistas de 270 grados del lago, un conjunto de torres se eleva sobre el paisaje con piedra glaciar de origen local, pizarra, acero, cristal y secuoya.

    Un puente parcialmente cubierto, reforzado con acero y pavimentado con tarima de madera, conecta el garaje con la casa principal. El ala del comedor, que incluye una terraza exterior para comer, ocupa la esquina suroeste de la casa. Otro espacio exterior junto al comedor se conoce como la terraza de cócteles, un lugar ideal para brindar al atardecer.

    Esta es nuestra casa familiar y nuestro abuelo padece una enfermedad avanzada y tiene alergias graves a los animales. Debes informar de la presencia de cualquier animal (ya sea de asistencia o de otro tipo) en el momento de hacer la reserva, y se aplicará un suplemento. Debido a la enfermedad de nuestro abuelo, tenemos que organizar una limpieza especial después de la estancia de una mascota.

    Tenemos una política estricta de valoración de una estrella para cualquier huésped que traiga animales a nuestra casa sin avisar en el momento de la reserva.

    Al hacer la reserva, te pediremos que revises y firmes un contrato de alquiler a corto plazo y un libro de visitas con la información y las normas que rigen tu estancia.

    Ubicación:

    Fantástica ubicación en la costa norte del lago Tahoe. En invierno, tienes fácil acceso a muchas de las principales estaciones de esquí (Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows). Justo al salir, puedes disfrutar de golf, Kings Beach, senderismo, ciclismo de montaña, natación, paddle surf, kayak y excelentes restaurantes. Durante todo el año, disfruta de los autobuses gratuitos a los casinos y del sistema de autobuses regional de Tahoe (TART), a los que se accede fácilmente desde la casa.

Host and property were amazing. We were hosting a dinner for family there and they were very helpful with some of the local details to make it come together. Property is beautiful and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Stunning House with Amazing Views

We had a great quick trip to North Lake Tahoe. The house is incredible and the views can't be beat. It's like staying in an art museum. The location is ideal - 20 minutes in either direction and you're at Palisades or Northstar (Ikon and Epic passes, respectively). There's great dining both directions too - east to Kings Beach or west to Tahoe City (with Garwoods on the way!). The snow is FAB this year - get out there!

Magnificent House for a Group!

This property was incredible - multiple stories connected with elevator and walkway. Perfect for both my 91 year old mother as well as the younger children! Grace was so helpful with our planning ahead of time and Bill helped us once we arrived - always available. We loved using the dock for swimming, the multiple outdoor porches for sitting and eating, and the space this gave us so that all our family could sleep peacefully. Truly spectacular!

Beautiful home

Well appointed home. Kitchen utensils to suit a chef. Close to winter activities. Very professional concierge. Responded quickly to our requests. Great for families. It's on six levels. Nice contemporary design with outstanding views.

Tahoe 2024

The property was awesome. Elizabeth the manager incredibly helpful and responsive. Use of the dock and buoy perfect as we had a boat. Only complaint would be it is across from lake and noise kept us from having windows open at night and kept us on our toes crossing over to dock. Still would rent again.

Everything Outstanding

Excellent communication with the owners and their concierge from beginning to end. The home was absolutely perfect for or family of 12 (9 adults and 3 kids, ages 3,4 & 7). The home is very unique and interesting and had all of the amenities we wanted. The owner, Grace, even ordered some toys for the kids before we got there. Can't say enough about it, we loved our stay and the Lake Tahoe area in general is a great place to vacation.

The Best Views of Lake Tahoe!

We had a great time in Lake Tahoe! Grace and Sean were fantastic hosts. They provided a comprehensive guestbook and were readily available to assist us with any questions. The property is absolutely stunning and has the best views of Lake Tahoe we've seen! It's equally modern, stylish and cozy with plenty of room for a small or large groups to work and relax. While the main living and dining area is on the 6th floor - for the best views! - there are TWO elevators to take you there. The guest house is connected to the main house, so you never feel too far away from anyone, but it does have it's own full kitchen for those that wish to have some separate space. The location in North Lake is wonderful. It feels private but is very accessible off the main road and surrounded by cute neighborhoods and trails. Tahoe City and Squaw/Alpine are ~10 and ~20 minutes drive to the west and Northstar is ~18 minutes in the other direction. We went to Truckee for dinner (~25 minutes drive), which is a cute old town with great food and lovely people. We'll definitely be back this summer to use the pier :)

Views and Built for Family

The house and the views are stunning. The host was easy to reach and made sure the stay was seamless. Plenty of room to entertain as one group or split off for a work call during the week. We will be returning soon and hope to stay here again.

Amazing Getaway!

It’s impossible to use words to describe our stay! The property is beyond gorgeous and everything exceeded our every expectation. The views are incredible! I would highly recommend staying at this property anytime! Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing house with even better views!!

We had a perfect stay at Grace’s house - She made sure that our check-in was smooth and that everything went according to plan. The house is immaculate (and huge!)There’s plenty of space for my large family to stay comfortably. The outdoor fireplace / patio was a great spot for early morning coffees and late night wine. The house is well located and close to various restaurants, casinos, and right on the lake. Finishes throughout the house were modern and well done. The property included all cooking materials (including a grill) to host a great dinner. The pier looked newly built- we will need to return in the summer when we can properly utilize it! Would love to stay at this house again!

A perfect stay for our family

Having visited the area for years, I have stayed in a number of beautiful homes and can confidently say this one takes the cake. We needed a place that would comfortably house our multi-generational family, and Grace's home delivered. The views alone would have made our stay worthwhile, and that is just the tip of the iceberg. The design of the home is beautiful, from the furnishings to the layout. The house is laid out in a way that provided plenty of space and privacy for each of our family members while also making it easy to gather in any of the several beautiful living areas. A favorite of ours was the office area in the main house where we played a friendly round of poker, with incredible views of Lake Tahoe in the background. Though we did not get to take full advantage since it was winter, having a private dock really set this home apart from others we have stayed at in the past, and we cannot wait to come back during the summer and spend time on the lake. Sean was very helpful as well during the check-in process and was available throughout our stay for anything we needed. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer! We are already looking at dates for our next trip to stay in Grace's place.
