We had a great time at this place for my stay with my friends. It had everything we needed in terms of beds, location, cooking, and price. Sauna and hot tub work great and are very cool addition to the house. We stayed in September and the weather was absolutely beautiful

The property is beautiful and the amenities are luxurious. We had a wonderful experience and will be back! The hosts respond quickly and are very eager to help. Overall couldn’t have been better.

Cosy house

We enjoyed this home. Everything was as we wanted. Large stained glass windows, fireplace, sauna, jacuzzi. Very comfortable beds. Most my friends ask me the link on this property

I'd like to express my immense gratitude for our stay in this charming home. Every detail made all the difference: the fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing our meals in comfort, the cozy beds provided us with a wonderful night's sleep, and each room exudes care, good taste, and warmth.I'd also like to highlight the support of the staff, who were always attentive, available, and kind—the kind of service that made us feel truly welcome. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and we already miss it. Thank you so much for everything!

We had a nice stay at this property, despite the rainy weather. Only two comments/suggestions:Could use another comfy chair by the fireplace,We couldn’t get the tv to work and even called the property mgr for assistance but they were unable to help. Usually not a big deal, but our NFL team was on…

Great time at the Serene Woodland Lodge

This was the perfect place to spend the long 4th of July weekend. We really enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub and sauna were clean and an awesome way to end the day. The house was well stocked to cook and we had plenty of space to relax. The location was really nice; near Tahoe City and walking distance to some awesome trails. Only thing to note is that the house does not have AC. 90% of the year that is fine, but during a heat wave in the summer, the temp inside reached 80F. So if you are traveling with someone sensitive to heat, be aware of that.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this house in the summer. It is conveniently located outside Carnelian Bay. The house was as described so it had nice space inside and outside for our family to enjoy. I wouldn't want to stay in this house in the winter because of how steep the road was. The only negatives were that the balcony faces the streets and the road was busier than expected. Also, the floors were not as clean/swept as we would have expected.

A Sister Trip To Just Exhale

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I found this rental because we were getting priced out of other areas for a small group of women looking to enjoy a quick retreat. This was a great spot to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of N. Lake Tahoe. The rental was in a beautiful place between plenty of great local eateries and great coffee spots! The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, and ample space. We found some white-painted footprints from workboots on the beautiful wood floors, some stains on the carpet in the queen-size bedroom, and the garbage was packed to capacity by the previous renters. The property was clean, but we were met with an 85-degree house that did not cool off until after the early morning. Our first night was brutal, even with opening windows and running all fans we could get our hands on. We had no complaints other than possibly checking the trash receptacles before every renter and considering getting central air for the grueling summer heat. During our stay, we contacted the rental company to notify them of the damages found, and Andrew was responsive and pleasant. Overall, it was a great location to rent.

Lovely winter getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our little getaway with friends with small children. Plenty of room and lots of sleeping arrangement options, including a pack-n'-play sleeper for our baby. We were very comfortable playing in front of the fireplace, cooking, and relaxing in the indoor hot tub! We even managed to get some sledding and a quick snowshoe in the neighborhood, which sits a block from national forest. As noted in the listing, the road up is relatively steep, but having the garage fit two mid-to-large cars helped us avoid the morning snow dusting. The whole process was very well communicated and straight-forward (including the extra hour early check-in!), and the property is perfectly maintained. Thanks!

Snowed In in Winter Wonderland

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful cabin. We picked the location because it is equidistant between Homewood Mountain and Northstar ski resort and we had intended on skiing both. What I didn’t realize and is important to note is that the cabin is situated at the top of a steep incline and over the long weekend we watched time and time again as trucks and SUV’s got stuck at the top of the hill in the snowy icy conditions. One morning as I was returning to the cabin, a woman came around the corner at the top of the hill and lost control of her vehicle and slid into my car. She left without stopping to leave her information. We ended up staying an extra night until the weather cleared because after the hit I was too scared to leave the property again in the snow (and I have a large 4x4 SUV with newer tires). Nevertheless the kids enjoyed the clean hot tub and playing in the snow on the deck. Overall a great property but truly only safe if you are a very experienced snow driver. Even experienced winter drivers will likely have a hard time on this incline.
