We absolutely loved our stay. The pool is great for kids and the proximity to the beach was amazing. We could walk to get food and go to the park.the host was responsive and kind. We'd love to go again.

We liked Sandyland Beach Studio. It’s attractively furnished and has a nice patio. The kitchen is well supplied and easy to cook in, and it includes sharp knives (unlike many other rental units)!!Great location – 1 block to beach, walk to grocery store and restaurants, walk to train station.

The studio apartment was very nice and in a great location. Steps from the beach and a short walk to town. Michael was very responsive, we had an issue with the WiFi and Michael took care of the situation quickly.

This is an absolutely wonderful studio apartment that is very spacious, well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels and bedding. It is just steps from the beach and the patio is charming. Pool is as warm even in October. Check in and out was easy and the gist was kind and responsive. I will definitely stay here again.

Great studio apartment that is beautifully decorated. Location was literally across the street from the beach. Got to sit at the beach and watch the sunset in the evening and sunrise in the morning. Ample street parking. Michael is an excellent and accommodating host. He responded to our inquiries and questions in a very timely manner and provided excellent instructions on how to access the property. And he even provided snacks upon our arrival. Only knock on the property was some ants in the bathroom and kitchen areas, and the bed was a tad too soft for my preference.

Very cute, clean, and well maintained. Easy beach access across the street through patio gate. Communication with Micheal the host was prompt and simple. Large for a studio with a nice kitchen. The whole place feels new. Would love to stay here again!

Excellent Stay!

The location was much better than anticipated. The studio is small, but beautifully appointed with much thought into the decorating. Michael has gone over and above by providing so many extra ammenities! The beach cart was wonderful! The pool is refreshing after a day at the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, but it was just too short..hopefully next time we will stay much longer!

Beautiful studio rental

This place is even better than the pictures! Immaculately clean, well stocked, excellent location, comfortable bed, nice linens and wonderful property manager. I've stayed in many rentals and this may be the best I've ever rented! Everything you could ever need. I stayed alone and felt very safe. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

Impeccable Attention to Details

The location was amazing... steps away from the beach and easy walk to downtown restaurants and shops. Honestly, couldn't ask for a better location. What was was most impressive, however was how Michael anticipated every possible need a guest might have. While we didn't end up cooking, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need (and more). The space was fully optimized. Extra towels are always appreciated. The wagon full of beach necessities was a lovely touch. Michael was a thoughtful and gracious host. Our expectations were exceeded. We look forward to returning.

Amazing and better than any hotels in the area!

First of all, I am a local and I know the hotels and several rentals in Carpinteria since we have family stay here often. This is definitely the nicest for the price, location and the accommodations. Really kind and communicative owner. Super clean (and I am a neat freak) and even a great bed! The location is incredible- 1/2 block from the beach and you can hear the waves from the back patio. Good water pressure, nice kitchen and cute design touches. Will always be my first choice in the area.

Carpenteria Gem

We had a wonderful stay at Sandyland - the suite was lovely, sparkling clean, well stocked and renovated beautifully with comfortable beds, great kitchen and living area, pretty patio and all that you might need for your stay with many thoughtful touches from the snacks waiting for us when we arrived to the awesome beach cart. The pool was great and the beach and ocean just steps from the patio. Michael was extremely helpful, kind and responsive - we would highly recommend staying here :)

Perfect space

We had such a lovely stay at this light-filled, relaxing, clean and cozy apartment. Perfect for a relaxing beach stay. Right across the street from the beach access. The property had everything you would need for the beach. Quiet complex, easy parking and clear instructions from host. We will definitely be back.

Spacious, Clean, Organized, Beautiful Beach

We are experienced vacation rental folks and THIS was the most organized, clean, and conveniently located place we have ever stayed at. Literally steps to the beach in this quaint, safe, sleepy surf town, walking distance to incredible restaurants (Zonkers!) and coffee shop (New Moon Cafe), and easy 20-minute drive to Santa Barbara. What we were most impressed with, though, was how perfectly stocked the apartment is. Everything is clearly labeled, well-appointed, and very clean. Extra towel hooks, super fun collection of board games, lawn chairs for sunset, foot washing corner on the lanai to remove sand easily, fresh spices including TAJIN in the kitchen! Speaking of the kitchen, we did not cook a meal while onsite but I wanted to simply because it was a lovely little space with beautiful appliances that were practically begging to be used. Truly, Michael had it all! Speaking of Michael, he is easy to reach, very helpful, and gave instructions that were clear and valuable. We accidentally locked ourselves out one night and he was easy to reach and so understanding and helpful. Parking was a breeze, checkout was seamless. We were in town to move our college-bound daughter into her dorm and she slept on the pullout couch on Day 1. It was perfect. We are already planning our next stay here, and you should too! Thanks again, Michael, for being so great and opening your home to us.

This is an absolutely perfect cozy beautiful space where Michael has provided everything for a lovely vacation from the stylish design, comfy bed, cleanliness, bath toiletries, snack basket which our 12 year old thoroughly enjoyed, to the condiments and coffee, to the beach toys!

We love Carpenteria

We traveled North from San Diego to attend a reserved horseback ride on the beach with Summerland Beach Rides. Our stay at Sandyland Studio #4 exceeded expectations. The vibe was so relaxing and cozy. Such a great place to stay and Michael was a great host. We spent a lot of time just listening to the sound of the waves out on the patio, walking on the beach and riding our bikes around. The cleanliness of the home was pristine! We loved it so much , we had food delivered so we could just enjoy the space. Perfect location right on the beach, easy check in and out. I hope to come back soon! Thank you Michael for sharing your home with us :)
