  • Located in Carrabelle on the beautiful Forgotten Coast! This area offers great fishing and beautiful nearby beaches. Peaceful and relaxing area for fishing, lounging at the beach or just some rest and relaxation! **Other things to note: Property is 5 minutes from the beautiful Carrabelle Beach, 20 miles to the 4th ranking beach in the US “St. George Island” 5 miles from public boat ramps and 18 miles from the Historical Apalachicola. **Wildlife Warning! ** The area is home to a variety of native animals. It’s always easy to spot a variety of birds and lizards- and hear the cicadas at night. We recently learned that a black bear, also native, was spotted on the property. Black bears are common sightings in the area; so, we ask that guests please bring food inside and don't leave doors open. Also please watch for snakes. Snakes are native to the area although we don't see them very often.

Very nice clean place to get away, not far from the beach and some good seafood up the road. Really enjoyed the stay, and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Location was perfect for this weekend. Home was clean and well furnished. Carport was great.

The place is exactly like the pictures in the listing. The home was very clean and had plenty of towels for the bathrooms. Although we did not use it, the convenience of having a washer and dryer was an added benefit. Communication with the host was excellent and we had no trouble with the check in process. I highly recommend this place if you are needing to stay in the area.

We had a lovely stay at this house. Everything was super easy from check in to check out. No crazy cleaning rules or fees. Just run the dishwasher before you leave. Easy peasy. The beds and pillows were comfy and immaculate. The owners really went above and beyond when the power went off for a couple of hours. They were at the house with a battery powered fan and not like a little hand held one, a big full sized fan with a giant battery within 30 minutes with an update about when the power would be back on. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated how easy and attentive our hosts were.
