Our room was assigned to another guest after we had checked in. Our sleep was disrupted several times by the other guest trying to get in (thank goodness for deadbolt) and by the hotel employee trying to sort out the matter. It was unsettling to say the least. I asked the employee to call me to let me know the matter had been resolved so we could rest easier but no call was received. At checkout the next morning, I was not asked about my stay but I volunteered that we had experienced an awful night. The employee, Uma, apologized but said there was nothing more she could do beyond saying “I am sorry”. No one tried to make amends.
