WONDERFUL PROPERTY!! Great location ! Check in process could be a little easier for guest had to go pick keys up from another location then come back to property. Not fun when all you want to do is go straight to your rental and start vacationing. Other than that … MARVELLOUS

We had an amazing experience staying at this property. The host was incredibly responsive whenever we needed anything, and communication was excellent throughout — including great English, which made everything smooth and easy.The house itself was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals (and margaritas), and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the Cartagena heat!We especially appreciated the host’s relaxed and accommodating attitude, as well as their deep knowledge of the local area — it really helped us make the most of our visit. One of the highlights was definitely the spa in the evening — such a relaxing way to wind down after a day of exploring.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed place to stay in Cartagena!

Short Stay

Leaks in multiple places in the ceilings. They used Varnish on the door before we arrived, and the smell was overwhelming. Had to check out and get a hotel. Property manager came over right away and helped us adjust the stay. Very nice people and sad it didn't work out.

Great overall

Great location . Great accommodation. Would definitely stay again. Kitchen is un usable due to hot weather because it is open to the outside…but we are out every meal so it wasn’t an issue. If you don’t mind that this is definitely the place for you. The host could be better at communicating but everything worked out just fine. I would recommend

Wanted to Love this Property But . . .

This property looked amazing from the pictures and the location is just perfect. HOWEVER, we expect a functioning INDOOR kitchen (particularly at the price we were paying for this property!). The kitchen is not closed in -- it is outside exposed to the elements on a balcony area. That would not be horrible but for the fact that just over the ledge of the balcony is a bank of industrial sized commercial air conditioning units to cool the building. Regardless of the outdoor temperature, day or night, the balcony and kitchen were as hot as a furnace. We never used the "kitchen" except to put drinks in the refrigerator. It was unbearable to be in the space due to the heat. So, we functionally did not have a kitchen. Hence, I would NEVER recommend this property. Lots of stairs to get to the unit and then internally within the unit -- so not for anyone with mobility challenges. The jaccuzi had no heat -- it was just a tub of water (and there is no pool, as advertised in the listing). The property is spacious inside and very nicely decorated, and you cannot beat the location -- it is perfectly located in the most desirable area. The rooftop view is stunning. I have been using VRBOs for many years all over the world, yet I have never had an experience like this before -- property attributes which were outstanding (location) and really bad (kitchen situation) all rolled up into one experience. Communication and coordination with the hosts (property managers) was challenging.

Best VRBO in Cartagena

Do not hesitate to book this VRBO the location is perfect all balconies and outside area had the most amazing views of walled city. This apartment gives the best authentic feel of Cartagena and Rossana and Martin’s hospitality was the best. It made us not even want to leave the VRBO. Decor of apartment is so neat on each level. Spa/Pool outside we used every night so peaceful, air conditioning was perfect coming in from Colombian heat after walking around the city. There wasn’t a thing we couldn’t walk to, location is so convenient. We were so sad when we had to leave and definitely will be back:) Thank you for the amazing hospitality Rossana and Martin!

Amazing

What an amazing experience staying at Rosanna’s apartment in the walled city. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and the AC was perfect to come back to after exploring the city in the heat. My kids loved the pool, although we have to watch them closely as it’s on the roof top. The pool was a great place to relax after a morning or afternoon of walking. We also loved Ada, she cooked a wonderful breakfast for my family every morning as well as made our beds and did some laundry. It was nice coming home with clean clothes. Overall the stay was 5 star and we only stay at vrbos when we travel due to ease with kids. Thank you Rosanna for the wonderful stay and hospitality!!

The photos of the property were great but they don’t nearly tell the story. In a lot of ways the property looks bigger than advertised. Great decor gave it a unique personality. The stairs may be a a bit much for some people but they weren’t even a factor to me and I’m not in the greatest of shape. Water pressure and temperature in certain bathrooms might be the only drawback I can think of but I would stay here again because it seems like Rosanna has taken the time to provide everything you would need which shows she cares about the place and will probably fix that. Ada kept the place very clean, was very helpful, and cooked a delicious breakfast (if you opt for that). Overall, a great place to stay

Horrible experience, bad host

Our host Rossana rented out our apartment to someone else before we arrived without letting us know. We had no hot water available for showers. The host was sending maintenance people in to the apartment without notice at all times of the day. Due to the lack of hot water and lack of proper security we ended up moving to a hotel. We have small children and proper services and security is always most important to us. We would recomend avoiding this host and her properties at all cost, not woth the hassles...

Excellent Property

This is an excellent home in the middle of it all!! The owner Rosanna is so helpful and responsive, from transportation to massages to anything you ask. We had an fantastic time in Cartagena and couldn't wait returning to this home. Highly recommend and Ana is wonderful as well. When I return...def staying here again!

Loved it!

My wife is from Cartagena so we know the city very well. We have stayed in a lot of nice places and this was certainly one of our favorites. The location is perfect and the property is very comfortable and kept spotless by the wonderful housekeeper and cook Ada. She was so pleasant and prepared a delicious breakfast and lunch every day. Cleaning and cooking staff are often available but she was exceptional and deserves 5+stars.

Spectacular property

This is such an amazing place! The views are the best in all of Cartagena, and the apartment is magical! Rossana is such a wonderful host, very attentive, answered all of our questions and was very accessible throughout our stay. The place is as just amazing as in pictures, and even so much more. We loved signora Ada, who was so kind to us and our son, and made us daily breakfast. Enjoying a mojito at night while sitting on the balcony taking the sights and sounds of Cartagena in - we can't wait to be back!

Gorgeous flat, dynamite location, wonderful host

My family of five had a wonderful stay last week! The flat is just lovely and in a wonderful location on the edge of the city. The roof deck and small pool were great to relax in after a day of walking around. An easy walk to the marina for departures to the islands. Rosanna and her husband are lovely. She was super helpful with restaurant recommendations, covid testing and even a ride to the airport! We have VRBO'ed several times and this is one of our favorites "Mom, you hit it out of the park". Highly recommend.

Amazing home with an even better host!

From the moment I booked the house Rosanna was extremely helpful, super nice and made sure that everything needed was taken care of. My flight cam in late and her and her husband waited until I arrived to make sure there were no issues. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the photos do not do any justice. Everything you need and could want is walking distance from the house. 10/10! In addition Senora Ana made amazing meals, the house was always spotless, I will deffinitley be staying here again! strongly recommend if you are going to be in Cartagena!
