Excellent stay — perfect for multi-family gatherings, even in the off-seasonWe had an excellent stay at this property and found it to be the perfect neutral location for a multi-family group. Even visiting in the winter, there was so much to do that we never once felt the need to leave during our entire stay.The amenities kept everyone entertained — from relaxing in the jacuzzi, to kayaking, playing board games, table tennis, and simply enjoying long walks around the property. There was something for every age and interest, which made it an ideal gathering spot.The lake views from the property were absolutely beautiful and added to the overall experience, even in the colder season. Everything was comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for group stays.We would highly recommend this location, especially for families or groups looking to spend quality time together — and don’t hesitate to book even in the off-season. We’d happily stay here again.

We were there for 3 nights in early October. The stay was wonderful. It was a beautiful home, clean, well stocked with dishes/pots and pans, utensils, etc The host provided a welcome gift! Plenty of seating for everyone. The dock was great for fishing along with the Hot tub, cornhole, and ping pong table. Plenty of outlets throughout the house and equipped with charging stations/pads in the bedrooms along with Google Assistant. TVs in every room and on the deck with an outside gas fireplace! The views were gorgeous! There is plenty of space for kids young and old to play frisbee, ride bikes, or play basketball. The deer are an added bonus! If any downsides it would be the thermostat could not be adjusted, or we were unable to figure out how to adjust it for warmer temps. It was set at 70 for air and 64 for heat. For us, It was cold on the main floor and the downstairs rooms were even colder! They do have plenty of blankets! The bed mattresses were too soft in our opinion, and the bunk bed mattresses were hard.

We stayed at this property for a family vacation with ages ranging from 23 to 70. Some people in our party had difficulty with stairs in the past & this house was very accommodating for that. It was super nice that they could take their golf cart down to the dock to minimize walking and stairs. The path of the dock is an easy, pleasant walk for most guests. The house was beautiful and beautifully kept especially on the interior - much prettier than the pictures. The exterior porches were so nice for evening cocktails, meals, and morning sunrises. We’ve never stayed at a property at Norris Lake was so much wildlife. We saw Deer every day, squirrels, rabbits, and fish, turtles, & even otters down at the dock. We brought jet skis and a paddleboard and rented a pontoon boat. Kayaks were provided. The dock was very nice. It’s an easy location for fueling up and community ramp. The extra icemakers were especially helpful and the Wi-Fi was excellent. Two of our daughters were working from home during their stay and needed to zoom with clients and had zero problems. The hosts are very nice and easy to work with & answered questions whenever we need anything. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again in the future.

Great Times on Lake Norris

Cannot possibly say enough good things about this stay. We were 10 adults and the setup worked quite well. Excellent communication from owner/manager leading up to arrival. Remarkably clean and useful space. Several improvements evident in response to earlier comments (so they take these seriously!). We spent almost all our time at the dock and on or in the water. Two kayaks were appreciated. Kitchen was well appointed and we really didn't need to bring anything. Two large refrigerators and bar-quality icemakers up and down. Checkout was a breeze. Definitely one to bookmark for the future!

Excellent property

We had an amazing time at this property. Its well stocked and located on a nice clean piece of lakefront property. Big deck for plenty of outdoor activities in the evening. A lot of green space for yard games or for kids to run around. We used getmyboat.com and reserved a pontoon that was dropped off at the dock which was super convenient. You are 25 minutes from town though so plan ahead accordingly.

The most beautiful rental!!

We loved this rental so much and had the best weekend. The property manager was very easy to contact and responded quickly! The only thing I would suggest is that there was a refresh cleaning before we came since it was probably unoccupied all winter the back patio area was just a little dusty, lots of pollon, and spiderwebs. Otherwise the property was beautiful and the stay was great!

Christmas at Norris Lake

The weather was really cold, rainy, often windy, with the sun rarely peaking through during the four days we stayed there as a family. You might think that ruined or kept us from having the best time possible. You would be wrong. ;) There is so much to do in this beautiful, well appointed home, the weather did not stop us and we never drove in to a town to shop, eat out, visit sites, etc... There was so much to do right at the house. The back deck, facing the beautiful views and lake was so wide and covered, that we had plenty of room to play corn-hole, we all piled on the couches on the side deck and watched Ga football by the fire. The large living area gave us plenty of dancing room, the yard between the house and lake was perfect for flying a remote airplane and kids running out their energy. Long walks with the deer was a treat, the dock provided a place to fish, older kids played ping pong downstairs or card games at the large table by the kitchen and the hot tub ended our days with a peaceful and soothing experience. It was the perfect place for a family to come together enjoy time together and shut out the world. And that was what this momma hoped for in bringing us together.Brian the owner was extremely helpful, kind and communicated promptly.We like to try different states and locations every year but when we left, everyone agreed we should return again next Christmas. You just can't go wrong staying in this wonderful home!

Lake Life Made Easy

Loved staying at this property. We enjoyed the hot tub, the kayaks, the fire pit, the corn hole boards, the big deck, and the large open space. The only (very minor) issues we experienced were that (1) the place is not well-equipped for babies/toddlers so we had to bring our own pack 'n play, stair gates, high chairs, etc. (2) the driveway is very steep. For most people it is just difficult to get up to go for a walk, but for elderly or very young children it would be impossible. The place is great, we loved our stay and didn't mind bringing our infant paraphernalia or the steep driveway. But these pieces of information might be helpful for someone.

Perfect for our family

For starters- the things we liked most: the space to spread out, big, well stocked kitchen. The very large deck with tables, plenty of chairs, propane heater for chilly nights,cushioned patio furniture with large tv and fireplace was a popular spot. 2 kayaks that were a big hit. Private dock with swing, picnic table and chairs and place to park the boat and waverunners. Easy access to lake from house without a bunch of steps. The large ice machines were useful, the basement was a great space for the younger members. Room for multiple vehicles with trailers was nice. All around great spot for our big family

Great location

The location was great and we were able to utilize the dock by renting a boat nearby. We had initially some cleaning concerns that were addressed by the management company. Otherwise it was an outstanding place for our family and friends.

Best Vacation Home on Norris Lake!

My family has been going to Norris Lake for 23 years and we have rented A LOT of Norris Lake Homes. This was, by far, the best we have ever stayed in. * The home is amazing, layout was perfect for the 12 of us. Huge Great room and Kitchen! * Location is perfect! * The Gentle Slope to the lake is the best on Norris Lake! Easy walk up and down for my 78 year old parents. * Attention to details: Ice maker up stairs and down were so helpful, outside griddle and hot tub were super clean, outdoor furniture was so comfortable we went home and bought the same rocking chairs from Costco. We will be back!!!
