“This was the adventure we were hoping for! We visited with our teens (14 and 16). It is such a beautiful location and we really enjoyed seeing wildlife up close! We saw agouti, river otters, howler monkeys, bats, toucans, and several other beautiful birds during our stay. The rope swing and being able to get in the river was very nice. “We definitely recommend this property. Beautiful grounds! So many tropical plants everywhere. You are literally in the jungle. Taking a nap on the porch hammock was so relaxing. The house iself is clean and cozy. It is perfect for a family of 4. Location is great. Close to restaurants and shops (10 mins from San Ignacio). Not a far drive from Mayan Ruins. Only 2 hours from Caracol. And also Kate was very responsive if you need anything.”

“This property was absolutely amazing! The staff was over-the-top with their friendliness, hospitality, and service! A pool side plate of nachos was served with white linen service. We ate several dinners there and everyone in our family thought it was the best meal of our trip!! Portions were generous as well. Excursions arranged through the hotel were on point and competitive with other excursions booked elsewhere. The hotel itself was a piece of art with all the mahogany and wood finishes....

“This property is extremely clean and pleasant. I felt it was an excellent choice for the price. The above ground pool off a nice deck is clean and refreshing. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and comfortable with comfortable mattresses. The rest of the house is not air conditioned but has numerous fans. We did not have a car and walked into town but the walk back is uphill and we often got a cab or scheduled a ride back especially in the dark. ”
