We loved it.

Frederica was very friendly and an excellent host. Everything was as described and the view from the pool is priceless. We would love to come back.

Jolie petite maison dans la campagne toscane. Accueil au top, agréable piscine partagée avec très belle vue. Emplacement idéal pour visiter Sienne, Florence, Voltera, le Chianti, ect... Peut-être un peu petit pour une famille de 4 en inter-saison mais en été, avec la terrasse, c'est parfait !

Traumhafte Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und typisch toskanisch eingerichtet! Es hat an keinerlei Ausstattung gefehlt! Die gesamte Anlage mit Pool ist liebevoll gepflegt, so dass man sich einfach nur wohl fühlen kann! Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett und reibungslos! Die Lage ist hervorragend um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Toskana zu erkunden. Es ist einfach nur zu empfehlen!

Entspannte Zeit in der Toskans

Eine wunderschöne gepflegte Anlage mit einem Pool mit ausreichend Liegestühlen und Sonnenschirmen. Die Anlage liegt einen guten Kilometer vom bezaubernden Ort Casole d' elsa entfernt, ist fußläufig in ca. 20 Minuten zu erreichen, ein wirklich gutes Restaurant in gut 10 Minuten. Ein Brötchendienst gab es nicht , der nächste Bäcker ist im Ort. Es empfiehlt sich Pooltücher mitzunehmen, da nur Duschtücher gestellt wurden. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet, uns fehlte nur die Kaffeemaschine, es war ein Filter und eine Porzellankanne vorhanden, wir würden dann empfehlen noch eine Thermoskanne mitzunehmen, wenn man mehr ,als eine Tasse zum Frühstück trinken möchte. Eine Espressokanne gab es natürlich auch. Es empfiehlt sich auch eine Grundausstattung an Gewürzen mitzunehmen. Wir wurden in unserer Uraubszeit von einer heftigen Mückenplage überrascht, darauf sollte man vorbereitet sein. Mit langen Klamotten abends , langen Schlafanzügen ( die Schlafzimmer hatten Gott sei Dank Klimaanlage) und Autan war es dann okay. Wir würden jederzeit wieder im Podere Monti unseren Urlaub verbringen, wir haben uns bei Frederica und ihrer Familie sehr wohlgefühlt. Ausserdem ist die Lage hervorragend für den Besuch der Städte Highlights der Toskana.

Fantastic

Just returned from a one week stay and cannot praise it enough. Frederica and her family were so friendly and could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Really enjoyed the Cooking Lesson and would recommend it for a fun and interesting break fro those superb panoramic views of the rolling countryside. We also really enjoyed our visits to the small hilltop villages that are just a short drive away from the property. We will return!

Sehr sauber, nette Vermieterin (Wenn man den Vater ignoriert der schon mal den Gästen aufgeregt Fehlverhalten unterstellt), Kopfkissen sind Säcke womit man jemanden erschlagen kann, Betten etwas durchgelegen, Wegbeschreibung wie bis 1880 es üblich war, gut ausgestattete Küche gepflegte Anlage

Heel goeie locatie die perfect gelegen is om Toscane te ontdekken. Huisje was perfect in orde. Het zwembad mag wel een opsmukbeurt krijgen. Zéér vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaars.

It was lovely to sit there in the evenings drinking wine. The pool was a good size & plenty of space & sun chairs for everyone. The location is great. 20 mins to Siena & 10 mins to Colle Val Delsa. I would recommend checking out Casole D'elsa which is 10 mins by walking . Great hospitality & I hope to visit again soon.

perfection!

We took our 5 year old son on his first foreign holiday and stayed for a week at Cottage Leccio. It is not luxurious, but that suited us fine as there was less to worry about in terms of letting our son explore! The cottage was fine and had most of what we needed. The pool is large and clean, but not heated. The location is great for visiting places such as Siena , Florence and San Gimignano. The village is only 1 km away. We would stay again!

We could live here

Federica and her family are excellent hosts and we were bowled over by their generous hospitality! The cottage Olivo was well equipped, homely and had a lovely view. The location was perfect for exploring Tuscany; Florence, Pisa, Siena and so much!

This was Tuscany at its best; friendly reception; most comfortable, well appointed cottage. The view is unique. Our hostess was on hand to help if needed but everything was perfect. Thank you Federica and his family for everything.

Great for Touring Tuscany

This was our 2nd consecutive year to stay at Podere Monti (the name of this farmstead), this time for 2 weeks. The grounds around the cottage are beautiful, with a pool overlooking the gorgeous Tuscan countryside and a number of old stone buildings now mostly used as vacation rentals. The cottage itself is small, with average-quality interior and furnishings, but completely comfortable and functional. The location seemed perfect for us: 2 minutes from Casole (a beautiful medieval hilltop village much less touristed than most), 10 to 15 minutes from Menzano and Radicondili (2 other much-less-touristed and beautiful old towns), only 15 minutes from San Gimignano and 25 minutes from Siena (so you can easily time your visits to avoid the heaviest crowds if you want), maybe 30 minutes from the central Chianti villages, 45 minutes from Volterra and an hour from Firenze. The owners/managers Federica and her parents are very helpful, easy to work with, and as a bonus very charming. Federica's English is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stays there and highly recommend it. If the cottage seems to small for you, check on the other house and apartments available at the same farmstead.

a perfect place to discover Tuscany

Even though we only stayed for a short time, we received the most incredible hospitality ever. We absolutely loved the cottage - it was cozy, beautiful, clean and conveniently located - with nice views.But most impressive was the friendliness, willingness to help and overall hospitality of the owners.If you are looking for true Italian experience and not your standard hotel visit - please make sure to visit this wonderful place.

This wonderful place saved us from a bad rental ex

Excellent choice! We called to see if the cottage was available after arriving at another place we had rented that was not at all as advertised. Federica left in the middle of her dinner preparation to meet us. We were wowed when we walked in and saw an extremely clean , well laid out, and well stocked cottage. Federica gave us a tour, explained how everything worked . The unit is well decorated in a mix of contemporary and retro styles . We had a fantastic time and wished we could have spent more than 7 nights there. It was quiet at night and the bed in the master was extremely comfortable. Thank you, Federica, and thanks for mailing the postcard to 'Mom' for us. You're a great.

A beautiful place to stay with outstanding views across the Tuscan landscape and excellent hosts

Podere Monti consists of three apartments in the main house and three separate villas which all share a wonderful swimming pool with a beautiful view north to San Gimignano. Our villa (Leccio) was very comfortable, clean and ideally located close to the swimming pool. The location is 900m from Casole D'Elsa, a typically beautiful and relaxed Tuscan fortified hill village with art shops, an ancient and fascinating church and a few restaurants, two of which are very good. Podere Monti is run very efficiently by the Ianniciello family. Federica is the point of contact with guests and is very helpful indeed, providing excellent information on sights to see, places to park in Florence, Sienna etc and a really useful guide to local restaurants, supermarkets etc. The family is very friendly and attentive to guests' needs without being intrusive in any way. We had a wonderful holiday and always looked forward to returning to Podere Monti to relax and unwind beside the pool. Thanks very much and see you again soon hopefully!

Clean property, good facilities at both property and local town.The house is place close to Casole, a small hamlet at the top of a hill, 10 minutes by car to the town of Colle di Val D´Elsa. The hamlet is extremely well restored as it looks a medieval village brand new builded. It is surrounded by oak trees and has superb views of the Tuscany all around. The sunsets are not to be missed. Excellent location, the owners are really helpful and nice.

Gem in the countryside

Beautiful family cottage in well cared for grounds with good sized and immaculate swimming pool. Centrally located with an easy route to Sienna and close to San Gimignano, a tranquil spot away from the bustle of the towns Highly recommended.

Amazing!

This is our 3th time here and once again it was perfection. The cottage is beautiful but very traditional and very well cleaned . It is set in beautiful grounds and the pool is big with lots of Sun beds. Will be going again next year for sure.

Felt like home in Tuscany

I recently stayed at this beautiful property with my family, and it could not have been any more perfect! It's a wonderful farm house in the country that's quite secluded - but also a quick drive to Siena, Volterra,Florence etc. Would highly recommend this property to anyone, and we can't wait to return!

Tuscan Treasure

We decided to explore Tuscany and use Casole d'elsa as our home base during our recent trip to Italy. We wanted to stay away from the touristy crowds but still be able to get to different towns easily. The cottage is situated in a perfect location: 1 min from Casole , 20 min from San Gimignano, another 20 min from Volterra, etc. The owners made us feel at home the moment we entered the gate. They had a lot of good information about Casole and Tuscany in general .If we have the opportunity to return to Tuscany in the future, we would choose Podere Monti again in a heartbeat.

Cottage with Garden, at San Gimiagno. Well designed and thoughtfully presented.

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay,within the gentle sloping hills and valleys of S. Tuscany. Comfortable and spotlessly clean accommodation, with a great 'Welcome.' This is a good area, from which to visit many historically interesting places. We required fresh 'T' towels and these were swiftly supplied! Enjoyed this stay here & hope to return.
