“Pros: Het huisje is schoon en leuk ingericht. Lekkere open haard. Fijne omheinde tuin voor onze honden. Het uitzicht is prachtig en in de omgeving zijn mooie wandelingen te maken. Ook fijn dan de host ons de 1e keer begeleid heeft naar het huisje. Erg attent bij aankomst met appels en cider. Cons: De weg is laatste deel onverhard en met onze laagliggende auto bijna niet te doen. Hierdoor grotendeels op en rond huisje gebleven. Ook de rijtijd naar dal is behoorlijk(25 min). De bedmatras is vrij...

The little castle is full of character, beautifully restored, and feels more like staying in a historic home than a hostel. Every corner reflects care and attention to detail. What truly made our stay unforgettable was Andrea. His warmth, local recommendations, and sincere passion for welcoming guests turned a great stay into an exceptional experience. He made us feel like friends rather than visitors. If you’re traveling through Tirano for the Bernina Express or exploring the region, don’t miss this hidden gem. We’d gladly stay here again. "Lovely boutique hotel with a great location close to the train station. Very well kept and modern. The only downside was the air conditioning in the room not working. After an hour of changing the thermostat when we got to the room it hadn’t lowered at all. We went down to the desk to ask about it and they went onto a laptop to adjust something and said it was fine. An hour later it was still unchanged and uncomfortable but the reception had closed for the evening. We phoned and sent a message through the Expedia app and no response. We had to open the patio door all night to get the cooler outdoor air into the room but it was loud with dogs barking, etc and the light getting in the room woke me up much earlier than I hoped."
