“A lovely place with all the amenities”

“Looking quite tired now in some of the rooms and have had to report maintenance requirements in different on my last 3 stays. Change of policy to not offer breakfast as part of a package without any change in price is sneaky and wasn't communicated at booking.”

“Accommodation is fine. Breakfast menu is a selection of fried, unhealthy or coated in butter. Needs to be better to compete with other local providers”

“FANTASTO para mi nessisito. In English, I tend to look for imperfections, but I could not find a fault in my 3days stay. The setting is wonderful and the staff were ALL happy and helpful.”

“A lovely property with tasteful decor. All the staff are very pleasant. Palm Court restaurant was really nice, and the gym and swim facilities were good. The Sunday carvery is excellent and complimentary products in the room a nice touch. Not a lot of seating in the bar if wanting drinks only, most of it is for eating. Similarly, car parking is at a premium with a wedding on. Changing rooms are quite small, and could do with a spin machine for drying trunks (many have these now).”

“Lovely hotel for a few days while at a wedding. Clean and spacious room with effective shower. Coincided with the Chester Folk Festival in the village, so evenings were really lively. As we were with friends in the village, we didn't have a main meal at the pub / hotel, but my daughter's snack was excellent. The menu had plenty of choices. Only disappointment was that cooked breakfasts were not available, but a good selection of light food was provided. The staff are very welcoming and...

“Very lovely welcome from Rebecca the host and clean comfortable rooms. We booked the whole B and B to attend a wedding and it was really helpful to go before to change. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. Great place to stay!”

“Lovely building but service is poor and the food/breakfast is terrible. Cleaning not great either. We stayed in a room with multiple power cable extension leads/plugs Daisy chained across the floor… no way this is legal in UK. ”
