Cancellation & Processing Fees

If you choose to cancel your reservation, our standard cancellation policy will apply. In addition, please note that payment processing fees are non-refundable. As a result, 4% of the total amount paid will not be returned, since these fees are incurred for both accepting and refunding payments.

Guests will have access to the entire home and all available amenities during their stay. The only exception is the locked owner`s closet, which is reserved for owner supplies and is not accessible to guests.

1. Cars permitted at anytime – 1

2. Please do not rearrange the furniture or furnishings at any time.

3. Please do not enter the locked owner`s closet or remove/use any contents at any time.

If something is accidentally damaged or broken on the property by the renter, they are required to make us aware immediately.

4. No motor homes, trailers, RVs, towed vehicles, “U-Haul” type trucks and trailers, nor any large commercial vehicles as defined by CA DMV and in excess of ¾ tons may be allowed on property except to load/unload. No overnight parking of said vehicles.

5. No outdoor music at all.

6. Quiet Hours are 10pm - 8am.

7. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS

8. Do not exceed the number of guests on your reservation at any time during your stay.

9. In order to get into the community we need the first name, last name, and license plate number of any cars and their drivers.

*Please note we are near the airport so you can periodically see or hear the planes. Which we and our guests find it more entertaining than distracting! (They do have a curfew).

**By City of Cathedral City Ordinance, the following are required to rent a short term rental in the city.

1. Primary renter must be at least 21 years of age.

2. Responsible party (primary renter) is required to sign a short term rental agreement (contract) and submit a copy of government issued ID before check-in.

3. No more than 2 adults or children per bedroom are allowed to occupy the home overnight

4. No more than 1 car per bedroom are allowed to be parked at the house overnight

5. Trash must be kept in the provided receptacle out of public view.

6. Outdoor music is prohibited 24 hours per day. It is further expected that noise created at the home will not be audible beyond the property line.

All bookings made during Coachella, Stagecoach or other festivals will require a $500 refundable deposit, which is due within 72 hours of booking. This deposit will be returned to you after you check out assuming there’s no damage or broken rules during your stay. PLEASE NOTE: if you choose to cancel your reservation prior to checking in, the $500 deposit will not be refunded. The remaining balance of the reservation will follow our cancellation policy.

**These rules are set forth by City Ordinance and apply to ALL rentals in the City of Cathedral City. They are intended to help create peaceful neighborhoods in which rentals exist.

During the summer the thermostat may be locked at a certain temp range and not able to go lower than that range. This is due to the extreme temperatures in the desert. We can’t allow thermostats to be set below this range or we risk the AC unit freezing entirely, and not working during your stay. We apologize in advance, but we can assure you that 72 or 74 degrees will feel AMAZING when it’s over 100 degrees outside.

All reservations are subject to an $89-$125 Damage Protection Fee, which covers accidental damages incurred during the stay. This fee safeguards guests against additional charges for qualifying damages, providing a streamlined and worry-free experience.
