“I stayed in the McCulloch Suite in the Sion Bass House (one of the two adjacent historic homes which make up this property). The suite was very spacious and clean. The check-in instructions which were emailed the day of check-in were very clear. There was a folding ironing board, iron, lots of extra towels, literature related to the history of the property and the city (for anyone who might be interested). “The room was clean and seemed well-maintained, and the staff was very courteous. The room was a good value for the price. I would kindly ask that the hotel staff be instructed NOT to say the guest’s assigned room number out loud. It creates unnecessary danger, especially when other hotel guests are present in the lobby during check-in. The number is written on the room key paper holder; please just show the person checking in rather than vocalizing the room number out loud. ”

“The room was relatively clean and the bedding at least seemed fresh, but there was an rather moldy odor to the room. It had a kitchenette which was unexpected.
