“We stayed for a week here as a group of 8, and had an awesome experience! The house was wonderful with ocean access and views, a large, clean pool and pool toys, watercraft, and well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. We rented a car, which was a good choice because it made it so much easier to run to Governor's Harbour, restaurants, and the many, many beaches nearby, as well as to explore the island. Eleuthera can feel rural at times and while this property is tucked a bit out of the way and felt quiet and private it was still easy to access. “Double Bay Beach is one of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever been at. 3 miles of beauty and seclusion. The property grounds are also beautiful. The cottage and main house are a bit tired. The pool house is lovely. Our stay was impacted by a lack of water in the cottage and main house for many hours of each day for about a week and a half but, even then, the water was shut off in the evenings. Also no workable grills for cooking but that was minor compared to the water issues we suffered with....

“Worked well as a home base. Everything worked well and enjoyed the birds in the pond in back.Wish there were more than 3 dishwasher pods for the week. For four people it doesn't last long. The beach has a lot of sharp glass so be careful of that. Some of them stick straight up out of the rocks like they are part of the rocks. Ten Bay beach was a very short drive and perfect for kids. ”
