“If you are lucky enough to find an opening for this house, just book it.The house and property are truly exceptional. Everything is thoughtfully labeled in the house, which is really handy when you just want to know what light switch turns on which light! The kitchen and bathrooms are VERY well stocked.The canal out back is very nice and my kids actually caught some cool fish out there. Manatees came to visit there are well. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards. The home is over 100 years old...

“The title says it all… Secluded? Check. Paradise? Check. Captain Rob and Regina’s place was immaculate and had amenities we didn’t even know we needed, but now we want them in our own homes. The ice maker made the good ice! The beds were also so comfortable! The pictures didn’t do the outdoor area/backyard justice. Perfect spot for some shaded napping in the afternoon heat after a dip in the almost private pool. Literally, we saw maybe 4 people at the pool other than us the entire week....

“We arrived very late. 1st thing on our mind is go to the barm. There was an 1/8th roll of TP in 1 bathroom. Even the cheapest hotels have a full roll & a spare. As we began to unpack we noticed the house needed a deep clean & repairs. That night I sent a message to the realtor stating the home was unacceptable.I had to scrub the soap scum in the bathtub. It's old & shows wear and tear. But this was filth! The ensuite bathroom shower, had no water pressure & if you increased the temp the shower...

“The eight of us had plenty of room at this house. Note that this place is more of a duplex with the upstairs having its own entrance, and not accessible from the downstairs unit. We found the pool a bit small for all of us. There was plenty of on site parking for 3 cars. A golf cart is provided for trips to the private White Marlin beach that is in the neighborhood. ”
