This place was great for our needs. I'm so grateful to have found a place that will allow gatherings and parties. A rare gem for sure! The kitchen was great with plenty of space and wide open! We loved the swim spa and the outside was perfect for relaxing and playing with the grandkids after a very busy day. Other little things that made it a great place.Wine and treats!Comfortable cozy beds.A garage to park in and unload all of our things easily. Lots of space in the common areas.Great communication!Very accommodating. Close to shopping. Thank you again for a great stay ah ha allowing me to host Early Canadian Thanksgiving in your place!

This beautiful property is a short walk from the SUU campus and the Utah Shakespeare Festival. The entry is easy and the house all on one level, making it accessible to folks with mobility aids such as walkers. We had mostly coffee and conversation in the yard along with a bit of putting on the green, but the pool looked great! The host is communicative and makes sure the property is perfect! Our third annual stay! We’ll be back!

Cedar City Getaway

If you're looking for a great spot to stay in Cedar City, look no further! This place has it all. Fantastic property that is exactly as described in the listing. The house is spacious and was incredibly clean when we arrived. There were even water bottles in the fridge for us. You can use the large garage (with a clicker and everything) during your stay there, which is awesome! The hosts were communicative and quick to respond when I needed the code to get into the house (we checked in pretty late). We would absolutely book this location again if we ever come to Cedar City. Thank you for hosting us!

Nice but BUGS BEWARE

The house was so cute and in a perfect central location. It was just as described on the listing. Heather was great about responding to us in the beginning and was being very accommodating which was amazing. However, once we checked in we started seeing earwigs. On walls, floors, in towels and on the beds. There were lots of dead ones on the floor indicating a spray had happened at one point but I killed about 25 and there were plenty more all around the house. I understand southern Utah has bugs, but they shouldn’t be this bad inside of a house.Unfortunately the communication ended right at check in. We would totally stay here again if the bug situation was under control.

Summer games

What a remarkable home. Perfect for a long weekend. We used the BBQ for some burgers and dogs. The kids (and me) made lots of use of the swim spa (mostly for relaxing vs swimming haha). Beds were so comfortable, garage was available to park in and I absolutely loved the kitchen. I hope we get the chance to stay here again. Highly recommend! The host was quick and responsive to texts as well!

Perfect Sanctuary in Downtown Setting near National Parks

Our family loved the Downtown Getaway in Cedar City. The backyard was a wonderful oasis with the swim spa being the highlight. The house was well-equipped with most everything you could need and decorated beautifully.

Wow, absolutely fantastic!

We wanted to visit Cedar City for our kids to see snow. We loved the location and the place we stayed so much! The pool is perfect. The kids loved getting in there each morning and evening before and after the outdoor adventures. My husband and I loved the open kitchen, living room and bedroom sizes. The home is beautiful! We can’t wait to book again next year!

This home was beyond amazing. Extremely clean and very up-to-date. Host provided water and other amenities. The mattress and bedding was extremely comfortable. The location is perfect. We visit Cedar City often and this has been our favorite gone to stay at so far. We will stay here again.

Quick getaway

I was able to find the home quickly. I was a bit worried when I drove into the neighborhood, as it looked very ran down. On entering into the house o saw that they had upgraded it very nicely. It was welcoming. We were excited to sit in the wimps and use it to its fullest. However some of the functions did not work. I contacted the host and was instructed to shut the breaker off then turn back on. This kind helped. But it still had issues. I researched the spa to find the issue was two knobs that were broken and I informed the host who indicated they would have their spa guy fix it later.. the temperature was not accurate and it was not as warm as it indicated, I just happened to have a temperature sensor gun from my work. Set at 103 but reading was 101. There was garbage wrappers under the couch and beds but clean everywhere else. I would stay here again and would recommend it. But for the price I would have expected at least the spa to work properly.

Relaxing destination

This house was a Wonderful setting for my family to unwind. I would have easily gave it 5 stars across the board but I am a bit of an arachnophobic and had a hard time with the 100's of daddy long legs every where. Even had one land on me while cooking. I get not wanting to remove them as they deter black widows but it was still a bit of a spider nightmare for just one of us. Otherwise this house is an Absolute beauty!

Our Shakespeare Haunt!

This house has a great layout and is close to the Shakespeare Festival, The French Spot restaurant, and is a great launch point to recreation in the Dixie National Forest. The house has wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces and has simple access from the garage to the house for those using a cane, walker, or wheelchair. Heather is a great host!

Nice Place

We stayed the weekend at this very clean, beautifully decorated home. It’s in the central area of Cedar City close to Main St and SUU. The neighborhood is older but this home is by far the nicest in the area. The backyard not only has a large spa but also a putting green, nice seating area with fire feature and a good little bbq. We had a few small problems with batteries being dead on remotes and the AC. However the hostess was very responsive and took care of the issues quickly. The kitchen is really big and well stocked. This is a great home if you are looking for a nice place in central Cedar City with an awesome back yard. The gift bottle of wine and chocolate didn’t go to waste!!!

This is our family’s second stay at this wonderful property. We come up to ski/board Brian Head a couple times a year and found this gem last time. Thanksgiving visit

This was our second visit as my son is in grad school at SUU and we loved the house last year and immediately wanted to come back. Love the jacuzzi, and spacious kitchen/family room area. Highly recommend staying there when in Cedar City.
